| THE HORSE BARN In a barn somewhere in western North Carolina, there is a skeleton of a horse. They say that when you walk close to the bones, you hear horse hooves beating as if they are running to you. The closer you go to the bones, the louder it sounds. No one knows why they have not yet been removed, it's just a nice place to go and get scared. Mitch |
| THE OMEGA HOUSE At 111 Omega St, in El Dorado, Arkansas. There stands a house. Not a run-down shack. But I lived there for most of my life. And I know that it is haunted because when I was 8, I was about to go outside and walked past the kitchen, I heard ice tinkling in a glass. My mother was outsides, my dad was at work and neither of my brothers was there. We only had one cat and he was in the living room. I looked and saw the freezer door shut, and a glass of ice be sat onto the counter. As if it were floating on air! I was scared and ran outside. This wasn't the only time, They say thaat animas have a 6th sense. When I was 11, my mom was in my room with my cat Sammy, Sammy was looking into the hallway like there was someone there, My mom looked and saw a woman in a green dress fade away. I haven't lived there in only 1 year, I guess it is still haunted. Mee |
| SMACKOVER PARTY HOUSE When my mom was 14, she lived in a small town in Arkansas. Some nights she would here people partying in the living room, so she would go to look. There was always no one there. Sometimes her father, my papa, would feel someone sit down in the bed beside him, he would look and see where a person is laying. You know how you sink into your bed, that is what he saw, no person, just the depression. To this day it is still standing, and still haunted. Mee |

| Crossett Lights In Crossett, Arkansas, there is a train track where at night you can see ghost-lights. So far there is no history of a crash that we have found yet. But they say that when you go towards them the lights go away. And if you walk away, they follow you, the faster you go the faster they go. Scientists have tried to say it is swamp gas making the lights, but there aren't any swamps in that part of Arkansas. Mee |
| Earely Station Lights In Ahoskie, North Carolina, there are some train tracks at what used to be Earely Station. They say there was a train crash around the beginning of the 20th century, sometimes you can see lights going towards each other on the tracks. They say they represent the two trains. One time someone stood in the path of one and felt "something" go through his body. Mitch |
| Maco Lights In Maco, North Carolina, a small town, around the beginning of the 20th century, A man was working there. He sold the tickets and got everyones luggage to the right person, one night he was alone and heard something out in the brush across the tracks, he took his lantern in pne hand and tried to see what it was. He was leaning on the railing when it broke. He fell onto the tracks and he was knocked unonsious, soon the train came and did not see hime soon enough to stop. The mans head was severed, and now you see the ghost lights there right where it happend, they say that it is the mans ghost looking for his head. Mitch |

| Brown Mountain Lights Back in the good old pioneer days of North Carolina, there was a murder on Brown Mountain. This is how the story goes, one day some neaighbors that lived next door to a nice, young couple that seemed to be in love heard some screams. After a few days they went over to see the man and ask why they had not seen his wife, they saw him loading a carpet saoked in blood into his wagon. He said tat his wife left and that he was leaveing soon. That night, they were awoken by noises, they looked out to see what was going on. They saw a something that looked like a body wrapped in a sheet being thrown into his wagon. The next day a man left with his wagon and horses, as he got in to a smaller wagon with a new woman. After a few months, the lights began to appear on the mountain. They found a two skeletons, one a baby and the other an adult. They say that the lights are the woman trying to find help, you can still see them today. Mee |
