This is the home page for the Hyperfiction group project for ENGL 481 Writing for the Web, taught by George Dillon, University of Washington in March 1998. This site is intended to provide a general overview of hyperfiction and hypertheory. It includes definitions of hyperfiction and hypertheory , examples of original hyperfiction, reviews of hyperfiction on the web, a description of the connection of hyperfiction to literary theory, an annoted list of hypertheory web sites and a description of some of the key players in hyperfiction and hypertheory.
This site has not had any substantial updates since March 1998. Please be aware that there may be broken links, as some pages linked to may have been removed since then. Feel free to let me know if you do find broken links, or if you have relevant links to suggest.
