This one's a bit predictable and, I think, the one that feels the most dated. Still, I like it because you can dance to it, and it has its quiet moments too. Christina had me take out Cameo in her cd, then the next time we went out, the dj played it as a closing song. I guess they were meant to be.

An attempt to chart the rise and decline of a love affair, starting all sweet and romantic, falling apart somewhere in the middle, ending badly, yet on a positive, hopeful note, or wait, is it just April Fools'? The centerpiece is Makin' Whoppee which is a microcosm of love. "Weddings make a lot of people sad/ But if you're not the one they're not so bad," indeed.

He asked me to make a mix instead, of course that took longer, but then I had a good cd to play at my housewarming. Oh, and he didn't get the mix for a year, because the package was returned to me as undeliverable, and it was a long time after since I saw him in person to give the cd...
