My Background
Although originally from the East Coast, I have lived in several places including Michigan, Iowa, and California. My Family and I have resided in Wisconsin since 1977.

I received my undergraduate BA degree in Biology and Pre-medicine in 1968. I then received my MD degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1972. The faculty of UCSD consisted of medical staff of the National Institutes of Health. This exposure to the premier caradiologists of this country, no doubt, influenced my decision to practice Cardiology.

After completing my medical school training, I took my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Upon completion of this three-year program, I completed my "Boards" in Internal Medicine. I then completed two more years in a Cardiology fellowship at Iowa, took my Cardiology boards, and in 1979, I became a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

In 1977, I moved to Milwaukee and joined the Milwaukee Medical Clinic. I was a partner in the clinic until 1987 at which time I began practicing Cardiology in a solo practice at Columbia Hospital.
