Charles Francis Moan, Jr. "Chuck"
December 23, 1958 - July 5, 2000

I was born on December 23, 1958. The youngest of four to Charles Francis Moan, Sr. (Reds) and Louise Oleva Myers (Mike).

My fascination with sports and music began at a young age. I played baseball and football throughout my childhood and high school. I graduated from Loch Raven High School in 1976. I also played baseball at Salisbury State College on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

I played the baritone horn and tuba throughout elementary school, junior high and high school. I also began playing guitar at around the same age I took up the baritone horn. I continue to play guitar and formed my own band, The Billy Moon Band, in 1997. We play music that I have written and composed.

In 1983 I married Lisa Louise Bennice. Our daughter, Sheena Louise Moan, was born June 19, 1984. The marriage lasted 10 years.

I have been in the most rewarding of relationships since 1994 with Melissa Gail Emery. We are renting a home in Parkville, a suburb of Baltimore. I have a position as a Purchasing Manager for a small electronics firm, and Melissa is a Marketing Manager for a large printing company.

In 1977 I was diagnosed with a hereditary disease that can be very debilitating -- manic depression. My greatest success has been accomplishing many things in my life through the support of family, friends and modern medicine.
