He loved his family, Melissa’s family and his friends. He loved music -- not just his own, but many types. He was a wonderful, gifted songwriter. He was a simple man, not sophisticated, almost naive; therefore open to and enthusiastic about all new adventures -- vacations to New York & Nashville, seeing live theatre, buying a designer suit, biking, camping, rollerblading, ice skating, attending Orioles and Ravens games. He was funny. Loved jokes -- corny and otherwise. He could laugh at himself. Children were drawn to him. He taught us patience and how to be non-judgemental.
