Chapter One- The Journey Begins
Once upon a time...
There was a girl named Carin. Carin was a gloomy sort of person, but anything chibi-like or in anime/manga style would turn her into a monstrous, giggly girl. So one day Carin was walking along, minding her own business, when she saw a peddler on the street. "Would you like to buy something to charity?" he asked "What are you selling?" Carin inquired. "Umm..umm.. pancakes. Hot and toasty pancakes. And negative one percent goes to charity." "Why, how thoughtful of you. But I don't like pancakes. I'm allergic. I'm allergic to a lot of things. Why, I'm allergic to wheat, tomatoes, sanity..." said Carin. The peddler looked distraught. "People are STARVING and all you care about are your STUPID ALLERGIES!!! BUY SOME! BUY SOME NOW!!!!" By then, Carin had realized that this guy was deeply disturbed, so she ran away quickly, with him in hot pursuit.
Carin was walking again, this time a bit flustered. She then came upon an enormous gray castle. Up in the balcony was a young princess that had on glasses. "Hi." said the princess. "My name is Stacy. I'm a young girl who tortures her sister and never has any fun, because I'm too serious." "Great!" said Carin. "We can be the Sad Sisters." So Stacy did a ninja/karate/Matrix jump/kick/cool move thingy, and leaped off the balcony. They walked off the road together, humming depressing gothic songs.
