Vicky walked cautiously toward Stark’s office. She had received an envelope earlier with the words ‘Kirkland and Ryan’ written on the paper inside and signed Jordan Stark.

"Leave my son alone. Don’t touch him."

"Mrs. McKinnon, you’re obviously mistaken. I asked you here today to discuss a very important matter."

"And what might that be?"

"Time travel."

"Okay, I think I’ll be leaving now."

"No, please wait. Maybe this will change your mind." As Vicky turned around, she saw Stark holding a picture of Ryan with Steven and Kirkland.

"If I’ve got my facts straight, these boys are the sons he never had."

"What does Ryan have to do with any of this?"

"Everything. Have you forgotten him this quickly Victoria? How much he meant to you, your one true love? That’s where we share a common bond."

"What bond?"

"Just like you, I lost my true love to death. That’s where time travel comes in…"
