I joined the Mex Uzbans back in February 2003 when Annolori was still a Wizard, and there were very few dwarf members. Part of my reasons for becoming a part of Khazad-dum in the first place is because of the different clans (and ShEru). I knew that with all the choices, I could find my "home" there, and I did so with the Mex Uzbans. In real life, I love to bake, so I immediately applied for a position in the Order of the Flour. It was a match made in heaven. The best thing about being a Mex is that pretty much everyone in Khazad-dum knows who you are. I mean, after all, we do feed close to 800! There are times, however, when that is all we do - cook and feed people. For example, the dragon hunts. :) In the end, I love my position in the Mex Uzbans and enjoy every day. We have the most dedicated and creative members and leaders ever. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else..

My real name is Kristi and I teach 8th grade mathematics in Baltimore, Maryland. Aside from the plaza, I like to spend time with my family, friends and my 2-year old beagle, Dala.

I first found out about the Mex in March. ShEru had come to the Ranger Headquarters asking for a dragon hunter for the first upcoming dragon hunt. I was really excited because I had long wanted to play a major role in a RPG so I responded instantly. Nevertheless I was the first Ranger to show up and was shown complete hospitality. Complications arose with the ordeal yet I stuck around. I never filled out an application to be a member I just started helping out and participating in stuff. I grew to love it even though I didn't get the major role in the RPG that I wanted. Actually, I dropped out of the first dragon hunt near the end because of time constraints. Because of the Mex, Khazad-Dum has become my second home. I spend just as much time in the Mex thread as I do in my favorite Minas Tirith thread. I love the Mex because it is a completely different way to use my imagination. There are endless opportunities for projects and every idea is welcome. I have too many favorite memories to count. I remember how it felt to finally become a honorary member. After a month of Mex service and nagging ShEru(Anas) to petition for my Honorary Membership I finally got it. I also cannot forget all the "bribing" ShEru did to get me to join the dwarves. I was offered a coffee named after me and a restaurant in my honor. Who could pass that up? Yet I did. I also recall Annolori's surprise return party. My beautiful cake was ruined. But atleast if gave people some entertainment. Who doesn't like food fights or hobbits jumping out of cakes? Last but not least, I remember the look on Nara's face when I burnt simple brownies and made the entire Kitchen fill with smoke. This is why I love the Mex. Never do I cease to have fun!

My real name is Erica. I live in central Texas and plan to attend Texas A&M University next year. I play guitar and plan to join a local band soon. I love to read and write(as long as it isn't demanded of me. More so do I love math. Yes, yes, I confess, I am a math geek. Who woulda guessed? I also enjoy playing tennis and have been doing so for 5 years. I co-lead a small group Bible Study once a week and am a active member of my youth group. I tend to spend more time online than I should, but the plaza is addicting as most people will confess.

I joined the Mex because I loved cooking and inventing dishes, and they seemed to have alot of fun. I’m not sure what i enjoy the most, i like most every thing. I struggle to post regularly but I’m getting bettter. The funnest memory I have is Anno’s suprise pub, execpt being hit by the sour cream and Mt. doom sauce when I opened the door( It took me a week to get it out of my beard), that whole pub was hilarious! In real life I live in a little sleepy town in Maryland, USA. I am a 14 year old, blue-eyed girl that loves music, sewing and cooking. I am hoping to major in teaching, but 'til then am homeschooled.

GimliLOTR18 in ME: Gimli was born to a life line of great Dwarven warriors, with him he posseses a Battle axe that has been passed down to him from his father. Gimli is a very vigorous and tough fighter, he stands up for what he believes in always! Gimli is a Big Game Hunter for his clan the Mex Uzbans. Gimli has a pet ferret named Boyin. He has a traveling crew that he likes to call the Trio which consists of his 2 closest friends one is AragornLOTR18(A gondorian) and Dror (a Dwarf) together they travel and fight as one.

GimliLOTR18 in RL: My name is Pete Boyan. I am 16 and am a male. I am a bodyboarder from the Jersey Shore. I Love LOTR, I have a guild in school called the LOTR.
