Official Coffee of the Shire
Gaffer Coffee - Strong coffee with cognac, enough to satisfy even the heartiest Hobbit party-lover.

Appetizers

Beef and mushroom balls – Fried balls of beef and mushrooms all the way from the Shire.

Brandy Snap cigars – A dessert well loved in The Shire. Cream is rolled up a brandy soaked biscuit with a generous helping of white chocolate on the top. It is shaped as a thick cigar and is a common finger food.

Cheese and Bacon Wheels – Fried bread rolled in a delicate mixture of cheese and bacon which is then put though a tooth pick to make life that little more enjoyable.

Crumbed mushrooms with herb butter – A light but very satisfying snack.

Home–Style Vegetable Dish – A simple yet tasty meal. A platter of vegetables, home grown from The Shire, is served around a big plate of sour-cream and onion dip.

Sam Gamgee potatoes pies – A recipe that was inspired by the great cook himself, mushrooms that are stuffed with mash potato then spiced with just the right amount of herbs.

Main Dishes

Essence of Hobbit Stew - This luscious stew is traditionally served before going to war. Only Hobbits from a tiny enclave of The Shire eat this dish, as they were corrupted by Saruman and turned evil. This dish can be served with boiled skin in lemon juice or on it’s own from the skull of the unfortunate kiddy you killed.  The aroma of this dish brings even wargs drooling to the doors of Nastyton in the South East of the Shire.

Flaming Mushrooms - Steamed mushrooms stuffed with tomato, basil, garlic, and peppers from Mordor then baked. Served flambé.

Gripfang Shrooms- Broiled and (partly) creamed Orodruin-fire-seasoned mushrooms in "Hair of the Hare that bit me" sauce (Sam Gamgee recipe)

Mrs. Maggott’s Mushroom Pie - A delicious puff pastry pie filled with a creamy sauce containing ample amounts of mushrooms, butter, onions, and rosemary.  A satisfying main meal anytime of the year.

Pork Loin stuffed with fruits – Slice into this succulent pork to reveal a exquisite display of fruit stuffing which consists of apricots, prunes, apples and just the slight hint of honey.

Superb Shire Stew - A hearty stew made with cubes of rabbit, potatoes, onions, peas, celery and carrots in a rich broth.

Toad in the Hole - battered and deep fried toad stuffed with 'shrooms.

Apple Dumplings - Whole cored apples stuffed with juicy raisins, encased in a rich pi crust and baked to golden perfection
