I hope you would agree that our world has come further closer these days. Yes, they hold the IT revolution
responsible for this? And that is why every one is happily exploring the
village world. Toronto, while housing people of all races and cultures, is just a museum
where the phenomenon of the village world can be seen at work. Like any atomic
structure, here too, each one, individually and collectively, occurs at its due
level with respect to worth and status. But it does not mean that being
unconsciously occurring as per the dreams of Mr. Lee Kuwan Yu (Singapore),
Torontonians should stay aloof from each other. Yes, because then IT revolution
without communications would mean nothing. To this very end I have launched
this website.
So, while you turn these pages, please do not forget to share your feelings and observations. I think it would
be furthering the cause of rationalism, which is the entire purpose behind the
practice of closeness. In my childhood I was taught to communicate with people
so to arrive at certain winning post. Here are several pages for you that
include my published columns, essays, articles and poetry that might expose me
to you.
As a journalist and Human Rights activist, I have published an untold number of columns, essays, articles, and other
works in English, Urdu, and Pushto languages in Pakistan. Also as a public
speaker I have uttered a lot on various public forums including Pakistan
National Center, which the political government in Pakistan sadly closed down
in 1990.
And all this did not budged any one. That is how once again Pakistan was led into a crisis. Now back in square one,
people like me have returned back to Canada, so they may watch once again how
the transfer of power to elected representatives takes place.
This time the process seems to be interesting enough because majority of the people are tired of the politicians
who have time and again betrayed confidence of the general public. Last time
during Zias era thousands of political activists and workers laid down unmatched
sacrifices for the restoration of democracy but the lady in red or her
opposition never bothered to worry about such political workers once they were
returned to power. Well, such behavior is not new for the people as those who
could succeed in making the dream of Pakistan come true are never recognized
and saluted for their services.
This behavior has now landed both the big parties into a crisis of shortage of workers. I believe this time they
should provide valid insurances to those whom they would like to bring on roads
against the present military rulers.
So, with such a background I understand better we initiate a debate over the
future of Pakistan? If you like to toss some idea, comment, observation or just
sieges of relief, please do it right now.

This being my first attempt at this genre, my page is necessarily thin. I
do, however, hope to accumulate more content here as time progresses.
Ultimately, I should like this web site to serve as a
forum for my writings and my civic policy projects, to help engage public
participation in social and economic affairs.
