As many of you know, Mr. James Barker has been working on getting an AFJROTC Unit stationed at the Colonial Heights High School. An Air Force official visited Colonial Heights High School recently and was impressed with the area that has been designated for the AF JROTC program. We now go on a list for selection. In October we will know whether we will be able to start our program the school year 2006-07. We have an excellent chance of getting a program due to the fact that the AF JROTC will add 201 additional units by academic year 2007 and is looking for 402 instructors. Officers or enlisted members who retired from active duty within the past years or less and who have at least 20 years of service may apply.
