Rugby
Like all good kiwis, I enjoy a good game of rugby ... Super 12, NPC, Tri-Nations, kids' under- 8, whatever. As long as it's a good, fast game with lots of running and passing, and the occasional crunching tackle.
The All Blacks are the New Zealand nartional rugby team. National heroes when they win - and unforgiven when they lose.
The Hurricanes are the local Wellington Super-12 side, the most exciting and innovative team in the competition.
The Otago Highlanders are my home team. "O-ta-go-o!"
Skating, surfing & snowboarding
Since my kids are keen on board riding of all kinds, I've developed a bit of a taste for it myself. Snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing - I can't do 'em but I do enjoy watching 'em.
