Game Info
-The screens of F-Zero GX have amazed people.  How can a game be so fast and so good looking at the same time and keep a steady framerate?  Well, I don't know how but Amusement Vision did it.  This game is extremely fun and hard and is worth your money for replayability.

Gameplay: A-
Blazing through environments at speeds over 1000 kph is great fun.  But difficult.  F-Zero GX is one of the few Nintendo games these days that is actually extemely hard.  30 opponents on one track gives you lots of challenge, and strategy.  You can try to knock them out of the race or just use boost power and blaze past them all.  Or, if you're really good, you can do both and maintain stability.  Controls of the game are great.  The L and R buttons are used for hard turns (in some cases a 90 degree turn) and the A and B buttons are accelerator and brake.  X is a side attack and Z is a spin attack, which also can be helpful in making tight turns.
  There are many types of gameplay in the game, but I thought there could be more.  First, there's Grand Prix and Story mode.  Story mode includes some great FMV sequences with OK voice acting.  It chapters are almost impossible to beat, but it doesn't get too frustrating.  Grand Prix includes 3 different cups and 3 different levels of difficulty.  Getting a good place is very difficult since there's 5 different tracks in each cup with ranging difficulties.
   Next up is Garage mode.  This is awesome.  Though there is no Create-a-Track (*gasp*) mode, there is an awesome Create-a-Vehicle.  You buy the parts you want for it and you can put stickers on the machine and do a paint job.  Though it might take up a lot of memory blocks, it's worth it.

Graphics: A+
Just amazing.  Don't get distracted while you're driving though.  The framerate always stays up and looks great.  The FMV sequences are amazing also.

Sound: A-
Some may not like the futuristic soundtrack, but I did.  The only OK sound in the game is the voice acting. Could have been better.

Challenge: A++
Do not think that this game is easy.  It's not.  I warned you.

Replay Value: A
Tons of parts to collect and vehicles to unlock.  And the pure challenge will keep you trying for a long time.

Overall Score:  94%
"Best racing game ever."
