Game Info
-Most gamers were worried when the Metroid series was going into First Person form and being developed by Retro Studios, a new developer by Nintendo.  Everything changed after Nov. 18th when Metroid Prime was released.  Is this game good? Oh yes.

Gameplay: A
Everything plays so great.  Samus is brilliant in 3-D and in first person.  The game isn't totally first person though, when Samus goes into Morph Ball form then a 3rd person perspective is showed.  The puzzles in each room are extremely challenging and not obvious such as "kill all the enemies in the room to open the door".  The worlds are HUGE.  There are many different regions which are neatly connected by elevators and passages.  Samus has many different visors to view her world in like the scan visor and heat visor.  Also Samus has different weapons remade in 3-D like the ice beam and wave beam.  Then she also has missiles which can combine with different beams.  Missile expansions and health expansions are hidden everywhere in each region, a great replay value.  The bosses are huge and difficult to beat.  You can tell why this game won Game of the Year in many game sites.

Graphics: A
Beautiful.  Every single creature is very detailed and the framerate hardly every drops.  BUT, the game will freeze once in awhile and say there's an error in reading the disc.  It happens rarely though.

Challenge: A+
It's very hard and not aimed toward younger kids.  I got stuck so many times during this game.

Sound: A
The sound is great.  You can hear everything from footsteps to the small beeps of your scanners.  The background music is entertaining and fits the eeriness of the game.

Replay: B+
There is so much to get and explore to acheive the 100% completion.  This game will take 40+ hours to beat.

Overall: 99%
"A masterpiece adventure."
