Game Info |
-Very creative, indeed. You play as Captain Olimar, a crashed space pilot on a strange planet. You discover Pikmin, plant-like creatures that aid you through your journey. You battle monsters and collect rocket parts to fix your ship. Graphics: A There is a point to when you can call a game "kiddie", but Pikmin luckily did not reach the Pokemon stage. The water effects are SUBERB, and the monsters are pretty detailed themselves. The scenery is beautiful and makes you wish you were there. Gameplay: A+ Controlling these little guys is funner than it seems. You must figure out the monster's weaknesses quick before it gobbles up your Pikmin. There isn't many locations to visit, but each location is very large and filled with surprises. The rocket parts are greatly placed. Sound: B The sound is nice and friendly. It's not so good your in awe, but it's o.k. The Pikmin's sounds are alright, but annoying. (The Pikmin sound like retarded gremlins.) Replay: B I first had to play this game awhile to get "hooked". The Pikmin challenge is odd, yet fun. More locations would have changed my rating a lot. Naming Pikmin would have been fun, too! Challenge: B+ -Not too tough, but a good challenge of skill and endurance. How to get past objects and make paths and not drown your Pikmin is a great challenge. Overall: A+ Grade: 97% "Creativity isn't acknowledged much in the gaming world. Pikmin is pure creativity and original." |
