Game Info
-When Zelda was confirmed as cel-shaded, many people made assumptions.  They were all wrong.  Now back to today, the Wind Waker is being said as one of the best games of all time (#6, currently at Game Rankings).  The Wind Waker is based around the sea and wind.  You can sail the huge sea with your boat, The King of Red Lions, and use a variety of weapons, including new ones like the Grappling Hook and the Deku Leaf.

Gameplay: A+
No game matches this gameplay, except for Zelda games itself.  The story is so developed and grand, it beats a lot of movies in story.  There are about 4 dungeons and many mini dungeons.  The boss battles are good, but some of them are amazing.  The puzzles are really challenging and hard.  Inbetween the dungeons, there are tons of sidequests on the islands that are spread amongst the sea.  You can get maps and treasure charts of the sea to help you along the way.  The Wind Waker is a tool that helps you change the wind direction.  Getting to other islands may seem long at first, but you'll soon find a way to warp around.

Graphics: A-
I myself thought the graphics didn't really fit at first, but I didn't really care.  I now really like them.  Everything is really detailed and wonderful.  The only gripe I have is that things overlap a lot.

Challenge: A-
This Zelda game is a tiny bit easier in my opinion, but still tough.  It gives you the place you need to go to next on your map.  But it gets tougher later.

Sound: A
Brilliant.  I had hoped for some familiar tunes, and there are still some, but not enough in my opinion.   The new tunes are better than I thought they would be and give the Wind Waker a different feeling than the rest of the Zelda games.

Replay: A
The game can take over 50 hours to complete, and even more if you want to do and explore everything.  The Tingle Tuner even allows you to connect a GBA up to the GCN and have a friend help you along by telling hidden places.

Overall: 99%
"Nintendo gives a new aproach to Zelda and makes it even better."
