From Sydney to St. Patrick's

1. Drive north from Sydney North on the F3 Freeway.
2. Exit the F3 at the Cessnock/Vineyards exit (about 1.5 hours from Sydney, before Newcastle), turn left onto Freemans Drive.
3. Follow Freemans Drive through Freemans Waterholes and Brunkerville (about fifteen minutes).
4. Just after Mulbring turn left onto Lake Rd following the Cessnock signs.
5. This road will take you into Cessnock through Kearsley. The road changes twists and turns as it takes you through Cessnock.
6. Cross the rail crossing after around ten minutes you will reach a set of traffic lights at Vincent St. (Cessnock’s main road) turn right here.
7. Drive to the lights at the end of Vincent St. then turn left into Maitland Road and immediately turn right into Allandale Road, following the Branxton signs.
8. St Patrick’s is on the left hand side, on the corner of Allandale Rd and Kerlew Street  around three minutes drive, next to the cemetery.
9. St Patrick’s is past Allandale Nursing Home but before the Aerodrome.
 

From St Patrick’s to Hunter Valley Gardens

1. Continue north along Allandale Rd towards Branxton (past the Aerodrome) for about two Kilometres.
2. Turn left at Broke Road following the Vineyards sign.
3. Follow Broke Road until reaching a ‘T’ intersection at McDonalds Road.
4. Turn Left into McDonalds Road and then immediately turn Right.
5. Hunter Valley Gardens is on this Corner (Broke and McDonalds Roads).
