Player Profile - Cherokee Parks
He was traded to the
Washington Wizards along with Obina. Then, during the season he was traded to LA
Clippers. Since he didn't get much playing time in Washington, I'm happy for
what he is doing in LA. With more young and talented players joining the
Clippers, I hope you can still keep his time.
OK. As of 8/02/2001 the Spurs signed with him. Triple Tower?
Here is my past comments for the year 1999:
He is so emotional on the court and swears a lot. I wasn't too crazy about that until
I saw him outside the court. He is extremely nice and always friendly whenever you see him outside the court.
He goes to have his hair cut at the place I go to. All the employees who didn't know who he was at the beginning
of the season became a big fan of his by the end of the season.
What I like about him on court is that he never plays less than what he can do.
He always plays hard no matter how many minutes the time is left or how long he would be playing.
I hope he does come back as the Grizzlies for the 2001 season and show us more block shoots.
He should be able to do more than what he showed us last season and deserves
another chance.
Cruel reality. I'll miss you this year.
