Player Profile - Othella Harrington
2002/3 season: Still watching you, Othella!
I still check how he is doing at Knicks and happy for him. HC Jeff uses him to bring out his best there. Hopefully he will get more playing time next season.
My past comments about Othella:
Big O said he didn't like Vancouver because it rained too much. I don't blame him. The summer here makes up the miserable rainy winter in this city. He wasn't media smart. Pro sport players shut their mouth to avoid creating the bad images of themselves. He doesn't do that.
I really like his fighting spirit. I like his attitude towards the game day. He is not friendly to the fans nor the opponent team players before the game.
He was shut out by KG and his troops on 11/22/00. Probably the first time in his career as 0 points. He did better against Boston, but had to play the center for many minutes. Maybe due the rotation difference and the position difference, but I'm sure he would bounce back and get the shooting touch back. He is not the one to stay shut!
