Player Profile - Shareef Abdur-Rahim

Does anyone care about NBA in Atlanta??

Finally moving on from the Grizzlies and good for him. He deserves better. I'm sure he will be very popular at the hometown team.

Here is my past comments about Reef:

This is Nov. 2000 season.  He is better than 1999 in every aspect.
He is shooting better maybe because of his stronger upper body.
He is passing out better from the double team.
I heard he is hiring a private chef as Ike does. He seems to be taking care of himself mentally and physically. I don't think he is the most talented player in the NBA, but I'm sure he is one of the most hard working and ever improving player in the NBA league.

He is given so many talents for playing the basketball, yet he keeps practicing. SO, he keeps improving every year.
The season of 1997, I thought he could be  better at the free throw line.  In 1998 he was much better at it.
The season of 1998, I thought he could be better at the perimeter shooting range. In 1999 he was much better at it.
The season of 1999, I thought he could be a better passer. I'll see.
Even though the Vancouver Grizzlies hasn't been to the play offs, Shareef's NBA season doesn't end in the spring. His summer season must be spent to research and practice just to be a better player. Discipline or the self-control is not an easy thing to do for such a young multi millionaire player like him.
Now, he has some players he can trust and pass the ball to. He doesn't have to carry all the pressure to shoot all by himself as in the past.
