Scriptures for Lesson Six

 

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid! (Romans 6:15 KJ21)

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? (Romans 6:1 KJ21)

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law. (1 John 3:4)


"Honor thy father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise, (Ephesians 6:2 KJ21)

Therefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. (1 Corinthians 10:14 KJ21)

For this: "Thou shalt not commit adultery," "Thou shalt not kill," "Thou shalt not steal," "Thou shalt not bear false witness," "Thou shalt not covet," and if there be any other commandment, all are briefly comprehended in this saying, namely: "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." (Romans 13:9 KJ21)

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by earth, nor by any other oath; but let your "Yea" be yea, and your "Nay" be nay, lest ye fall into condemnation. (James 5:12 KJ21)

"But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days," saith the LORD, "I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and will be their God, and they shall be My people. (Jeremiah 31:33 KJ21)

"This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (Hebrews 10:16 KJ21)

Therefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12 KJ21)

But we know that the law is good if a man use it lawfully, (1 Timothy 1:8 KJ21)

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid! Yea, we establish the law. (Romans 3:31 KJ21)

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ who died, yea rather, who is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Romans 8:34 KJ21)

For we know Him that hath said, "Vengeance belongeth unto Me; I will recompense," saith the Lord. And again, "The Lord shall judge His people." (Hebrews 10:30 KJ21)

So speak ye, and so do, as those who shall be judged by the law of liberty. For he shall have judgment without mercy that hath shown no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. (James 2:12-13 KJ21)

So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (Romans 14:12 KJ21)

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and he went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12:17 KJ21)

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Revelation 14:12 KJ21)

Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14 KJ21)
