Scriptures for Lesson Seven
Therefore, "Come out from among them,
and be ye separate," saith the Lord. "And touch not the unclean thing, and I
will receive you, (2 Corinthians 6:17 KJ21)
"Enter ye in at the strait gate, for wide is the
gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in
thereat. (Matthew 7:13 KJ21)
And be not conformed to this world, but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and
acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2 KJ21)
And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it,
because in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made. (Genesis 2:3
KJ21)
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. (Exodus
20:8 KJ21)
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah
the prophet, saying, (Matthew 4:14 KJ21)
Love worketh no ill to his neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans
13:10 KJ21)
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "Thou shalt love thy neighbor
as thyself." (Galatians 5:14 KJ21)
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2 KJ21)
At the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward
the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.
(Matthew 28:1 KJ21)
Know ye not that as many of us as were baptized into
Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism
into death, that just as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,
even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:3-4 KJ21)
To these also He showed Himself alive after His passion
by many infallible proofs, being seen by them forty days, and speaking of the things
pertaining to the Kingdom of God. (Acts 1:3 KJ21)
Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity, ye
have eaten the fruit of lies, because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy
mighty men. (Hosea 10:13 KJ21)
For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than
men. For ye see in your calling, brethren, how not many wise men according to the flesh,
not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God hath chosen the foolish things of the
world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound
the things which are mighty; (1 Corinthians 1:25-27 KJ21)
Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth thee to err from the words of
knowledge. (Proverbs 19:27 KJ21)
In thee have they made light of father and mother. In
the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger. In thee have they vexed
the fatherless and the widow. Thou hast despised Mine holy things and hast profaned My
Sabbaths. In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood, and in thee they eat upon the
mountains. In the midst of thee they commit lewdness. (Ezekiel 22:7-9 KJ21)
that they have committed adultery, and blood is on their hands; and with their idols have
they committed adultery and have also caused their sons, whom they bore unto Me, to pass
for them through the fire, to devour them. Moreover this they have done unto Me: They have
defiled My sanctuary on the same day and have profaned My Sabbaths. (Ezekiel 23:37-38
KJ21)
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear
God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring
every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it
be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 KJ21)
O that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear Me and keep all My
commandments always, that it might be well with them and with their children for ever!
(Deuteronomy 5:29 KJ21)
