This is my translation of Midorikawa-sama's "Attention" page from his site. The English version that he has is outdated. I sent him a copy of my translation, but I don't know if he'll actually put it up or not, so here it is on my site. I translated the page as best as I could but I did leave out one of his examples; minor stuff. You are not allowed to use this translation on your own website. If you have any questions or comments about my translation, email me. The "Attention" page is as follows:

* This is Midorikawa Hikaru's personal homepage. Therefore, I have the right to delete any posts I feel would hurt my feelings or are generally inappropriate.

* There are three message boards (BBS) here; please use the correct one to post to. First, the BBS on the top page is for people to write what they think about my work or things they want me to read. If you are coming here for the first time, please post a short greeting and introduction on this board. This can be considered as a bar counter. Next, there is BBS2 which can be accessed through the Index page. This is where you can share your opinion of my roles. I don't mind fans exchanging email addresses here. You can think of it as a booth in a bar. Last is BBS3. You can pretty much talk about anything here as long as you use your common sense. Sometimes I like to post something unrelated to my work here. Topics such as birthdays should be discussed here. It's just a small rule, but I don't particularly like it when people seem overfamiliar with me when meeting for the first time.

* Some people like to link directly to the message boards. I sometimes change the wallpaper and would like to know what people think of them. If possible, please enter through the top page. I like to know how many people visit my site and the hit counter won't work unless you enter the site through the top page.

* Please be cautious when posting and note that the the message board doesn't work sometimes if too many people post at the same time or if the date is changing. For example, on my birthday and the day "HIKARU'S BAR" opened, because the date changed, messages were not posted immediately.

* If you see someone make a mistake or violation, please correct them politely. [He's referring to the regulars on his site.]

* It's never a bad thing to greet a newcomer but when everyone does it, the message board ends up being only greetings. The number of messages the BBS saves is limited. Please think about this when you're about to reply.

* About my wife...

I've announced that I got married, but my wife, whose job is similiar to mine, has not said anything because of work-related reasons among other things. I will officially announce details about my wife when the correct times comes. Until that time, I would appreciate your patience and understanding.

Sooner or later, my wife and child (but I don't have one yet / *laugh*) will make their appearance. Although this is partially an information page, I wish that you not try to search for information about this issue. If you somehow find out something about my wife, please keep it to yourself. Thank you.
