                   DIST:  0.6 miles

CLASS: II
CHARACTER: Intimate creek with a couple short ledge/drops.
GRADIENT: About 50 feet of drop in about 0.6 miles (~86fpm equivalent)

GAUGE: Visual inspection. May correlate to USGS gauge on Duck Creek.
(Absolutely preliminary guesstimates: look for values exceeding 125cfs on that gauge, and probably needs much more.)
SEASON: Paddleable only early spring or quite immediately after heavy rains.

Smooth bedrock riverbed with a few short ledges in a fine city park make this an interesting 'stupid boater tricks' run. Due to the small nature of the stream, strainers will be a hazard. Excellent boat handling skills and the ability to grab small eddies and hop out quick may be necessary. A couple of the short ledges may provide some play if you can catch this with enough water. As soon as you pass the roadside parking lot you will begin to encounter a series of snags; carry-out to parking, as the gradient just peters out, and the snags just increase.
