| Fairly evenly distributed gradient, fairly consistant riverbed width, depth, and makeup (boulder bed) make this pleasant little river a quick paddle (when it has adequate water). There are a couple places of special 'concern' or interest, easily noticed and negotiated. Rocky outcroppings make this a slightly more scenic run than the New Wood (4 miles to the North). |
