Flood

I’m closed in dark places no spaces for me to move
Hold your breath walking on glass cause you know I’ve got something to prove
Water pounds down on my head see no light I can run to
Nothing’s right I’m filled with dread air’s tight what can I do?
I’ll wait until the water’s calm I’ll tiptoe the glass I’m standing on
I’ll hope soon the water won’t pour but until then I’ll pound on locked doors
Waves move slower I’m walking weary vision bleary leaning on these knives
I’m not out yet I can’t forget this is real while I’m alive
Hear splashing again but I’m locked in the flood is rushing to you
It’s like night out with the lights out help friend what can I do?
