Super Mario 64: Bowser's Theme - Lonely Throne

Sometimes live the night, where you’re feeling quite alone,
Sometimes it’s alright, to have no place called home.
But still put up the fight, if it means bleeding a stone,
All to have the right to sit on the lonely throne.

Living in the dark for the only life you’ve known,
Sit behind the mark that you’re destined to own.
And a fear to turn to light might rip you to the bone,
As years turn there’s only life sitting on your lonely throne.

Shadow all around, licked in flames that would burn stone,
Such a self-restricting world is how you tell you've grown.
But the choke of kingdom so small, you refuse to give your own,
Breathless at the last atop your lonely throne.
