• Helispot- A brilliant web site full of thousands of photographs of helicopters from all around the world. Categorised by type, owner, function etc. Some great pictures.
• Humberside Police Helicopter Support Section- A great web site about Humberside police's helicopter. Contains some good photographs and some interesting information about their helicopter, its role, and helicopters in general. Clever use of QuickTime to allow you to pan round the inside of the helicopter, the airfield and their control room.
• Aeroflight- A very detailed web site about the helicopters used by UK police services. Thanks to Chris Larvin who allowed me to use his picture of the West Yorkshire Police's MD502 Explorer (which flew past my window less than half an hour ago as I write!).
• Copters.comA really great web site. Not updated much but some great features - how to ditch a helicopter when crashing in water, how to autorotate etc. You've got to look at the trip he did from California to Boston in a Robinson R22 - fantastic!!!
