1964 Farmall Cub. This tractor was sitting in the back of a barn at a women's college when my son spotted it while working as a landscaper there. It had been used very hard and donated to the college, where it sat unused, so they were happy to sell it to me very reasonably. The mower is the IH C-3 60", which is a heavy and dependable unit. The tractor was pretty tired when I got it, but the running gear was sound, so after fixing up all the minor problems, it has become my main lawn mowing machine (I mow about 4 acres of lawn every week during the spring, summer, and fall months).

In the warm summer months, the grass grows very quickly, and I have to mow weekly, or it will get ahead of me. As you can see, I take the precaution of wearing a hat - it is all too easy to get a sunburn where my hair is getting thin!
