November 18th- Shannon was voted in to the US Olympic Hall of Fame and will be inducted on December 8th. According to this article A TV special on the inductee's will air January 2006. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

July 8th- Shannon has been signed on to be the commentator for the Summer Olympics Gymnastics competition this summer. She won't be doing regular NBC coverage but will be the commentator for the NBC- HD TV. I have found no information for this channel but will continue to look into it with hopes of getting more information. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I also just saw a commercial for a ABC special that will air on December 7th. Michelle was seen in the commercial for the program hosted by Justin Timberlake. It's a Sports year in review special. April 26th 2003- Congratulations to Michelle Kwan on her 5th World title. I was at Worlds and will eventually have some pictures up. Michelle also won her second Kid Choice Award and won Athlete of the month from the USOC for her record 12th time Here is the article. February 29th 2003- USAG is having a contest where fans can vote for their favorite moments in US gymnastics History. Shannon fans need to unite (and hopefully Michelle Kwan fans will help) and make sure the greatest gymnast in US History has her shining moments mentioned as one of the top 10. Here is the link. April 19th 2002- At the Kwan forum they have a poll in the Poll section about which athlete most reminds people of Michelle Kwan. Shannon Miller is one of the possible answers. I am sure by now everyone knows what happened at the World Trade Center. I just wanted to send out my thoughts and prayers to the friends families of all the innocent victmns.
Some Michelle and Shannon news. Shannon will be competing at the 2001 Reeses Cup in December and Michelle won a silver medal at the 2001 Goodwill games. Michelle is currently (as of this date) still in Australia. She was spending a few extra days in Sydney when the bombings happened in New York and could not get out of the Country.

Also Shannon Miller injured her leg during practice for the US Classic. It is not serious but she will not compete. I for one am about to cry about this (Not literally but...) September 18th- Shannon Miller recently answered questions at CNNSI.COM. If you would like to see a transcript please go to CLICK HERE During the Chat she admitt's that her gymnastics career is now over at the Olympic level (BOO!:( but she will be part of a tour after the Olympics.
Michelle will be part of a Disney TV Show called the Jersey. I just wanted to Congratulate Michelle on winning the silver medal at the Worlds this year. To go out and compete sick and still place second is just amazing to me. Even with the fall in the short program I still felt she was underscored. The long program also. But congrats to Michelle on what I consider a successful competition.

February 14th- Congratulations to Michelle Kwan on easily winning her 3rd National Championship. I hope you checked out Michelle's newly added Triple/Triple combination. I was a little dissapointed on not seeing some 6.0's in the Artistry department.(Dissapointed in the judges, never in Michelle) Especially when you compare her routines to the entire competition. But overall Michelle's scores were deserved. Also Congrats to Angela Nikidnov from coming up 3 places from the short Program to win the bronze medal.
