Meet Molly

I guess the first thing you can figure out about me is that I have a sense of humor. My dad was a great storyteller and I guess I learned from him. My friend, who is writing these pages for me, is trying to get me to write my life story. She thinks people would be interested enough to pay money to read some of my true stories. If I ever do write my story, names will be changed so that only those involved know who did and said what. A lot of my stories are about my special education students and my Special Olympics athletes. If you have never been around this segment of our population (estimated to be 3% of the total population), you should try it soon. These guys are truly, intentionally, FUNNY!

Let me give you an example. Most of the athletes have trouble with language. One of mine, in particular, is notorious for mispronouncing words and sticking her foot in her mouth. A few years ago I was taking everyone home after ice skating practice. I don't remember what A. said to start it, but she insulted me about my age. She kept trying to get herself out of the hole she had started. Every time she tried, the hole just got bigger. Finally, out of frustration, she said, "I meant to say some other words." It has become a running joke with the team.

My taste in music usually runs to soft blues and jazz. Since you probably came through my front page, you've already had a taste of what I mean. Want something else? Go to my Special Olympics page. I'm going to start listing some of my favorites which you can purchase from Amazon.com. I'll start with The Peabo Bryson Collection. Scroll down a little more to check it out!

Check back often to see what else I have to say about me!

Of course, you can always go directly from here to my sports page.
