I'm a huge fan of poetry and verse. This page is just to satisfy my love of the genre, and to include some of my favourite poems. I ought to point out that I'm a fan of poems rather than of poets, with the possible exception of Kenneth Allott, who I have given his own page. I think, other than Allott, e.e cummings, Sylvia Plath, Louis MacNeice, Emily Dickinson and W.H.Auden (pre-1940) are my Top Poets of the moment. But like I say, I prefer poems rather than poets. Some of the poetry links here are to other sites, but the poems available on my site are represented by pictorial links rather than plain text links. (Except Chinoserie, because I couldn't find an image suitable enough) Click and read, consider and enjoy! If any of these poems are copyrighted please let me know by sending me an e-mail. I hope you like them as well as I do!
