This is dismissed by the 1907 article concerning James Davis age as relating to his civil war pension. There is a Henry Davis born 1804 who is the son of Henry Davis Sr. and Fanny Randall. While the informaiton we have identifed make this our only possible connection, thus far we are unable to either prove or disprove that Henry Davis, the father of Milton Reese Davis, was the son of Henry and Fanny. Henry married Elizabeth Smith on 24 Mar 1824 in Clark County, Indiana.1 2 3 4 (Elizabeth Smith was born on 11 Mar 1804 in North Carolina,1 died on 22 Aug 1870 in Clark County, Indiana and was buried in New Market Christian Cemetery Oregon Township, Clark County, Indiana.)
