Sailor Moon Fans Rejoice!
Sailor Moon fans everywhere have hearts bursting with joy over the latest news. According to my ML Pioneer has received the rights to release Sailor Moon S and SuperS in subtitled format! The only questions lingering on tongues of American fans are "How much will it cost?", "How correct will it be?" and "Will it be on DVD?". After having seen Pioneer's version all three Sailor Moon movies, I have high hopes, and so do many others. And one would only have to watch their baby, Tenchi Muyo, in oder to see their devotion to good anime. Be proud anime fans, and be happy!
Sailor Moon S is in!!
And so are the bad reviews! Fans get what they pay for.
People are saying that the new dub of Sailor Moon S is so low priced for a reason. The latest buzz around the mailing lists as of the month has been about the quality of the voices, especially on the Outer Senshi. They say that Pluto's annoying, Haruka's slurred, and that's not all. One bonus for all Sailor Moon fans was that the Outer Senshi's names have remained, but we're still hoping that the sound of their voices will improve by the release of the episodes this fall. Fans of anime only have to look at the recent drastic improvement in the voices of Dragonball Z to get their hopes up, but is it enough? If you're in the mood to save money but still get a good story, then Sailor Moon S dubbed is the way to go. But if small things can really ruin a movie for you.. take the safe route! Stay away from the dubbed of this movie! The subbed is more well worth the buy!

Sailor Moon S - Hearts on Ice
Apparently DiC has once again gained the rights to the new episodes of Sailor Moon,
VKLL to stop selling subs of S and SuperS because of this latest info.

fansubbers such as VKLL are being forced to stop selling their S and SuperS tapes.
Copies of this movie will soon be released! There are many stores including Suncoast, that are allowing you to reserve a copy of this tape. And I believe Amazon.com will also allow you to pre-order. This means that our beloved Outer Senshi will be dubbed. Preliminary reports to the voice acting job done, so far, are not good. But we'll keep hope in our hearts, and always remember there's still a subtitled version out there. But according to the news on my mailing lists, the tapes are going for a remarkably low $10.99!!!! Go and get yours today!
