Meet a Searchrider
~
As well as flying Thread, it is the duty of green and dun riders to take their dragons and search out promising youngsters as
candidates for Bonding. There are certain things that are looked for in new riders...
~
Okay, guidelines for Weir candidates. This is pretty simple and basic, as I don't have enough free time to read, say, a novella
based on the life of each character that gets sent in.
First of all: to Bond a dragon, you need a persona of some sort. This should be obvious.
No 'dragon coming soon!!1' notes, /please/.
If all you want is a pet to keep on a webpage with six gazillion other dragons, look elsewhere.
Secondly, the dragonet needs to have a den already prepared, preferably something of the 'you walk into a cave...' sort.
Persona stats can be on another page or the same one, so long as they exist.
Your candidate persona can have as many flitters or unintelligent pets as you think is realistic, but not an intelligent
bondmate (i.e. wher, dragon, dolphin, gryphon...).
Pernseian or Pernese-type candidates are preferred, but if you can think of a realistic way to get to the Weir from another
world, go for it.
A more detailed persona and denpage will almost always get a higher ranking dragon.
Dragonets also tend to look for interesting or original characters... red hair and green eyes do not count.
Remember, a green is just as important during Threadfall as a gold. Don't apply if you intend to abandon your hatchling.
Currently, there is no limit on the number of candidates you can send.

I made this site out of a love of the Dragonriders of PernTM series by Anne McCaffrey.
It is not an online RPG weyr, and I do not in any way make profit off of it.
Pern and all aspects thereof belong to Anne McCaffrey, who I highly respect and admire.

All of 'em.
Yes, even the ones that don't have dragons.
They. Are. Good.
