"Come on, people, let's go!" Harry yelled over the loud chattering going on all around him.
It was Tuesday afternoon, time for the Quidditch tryouts, and the Gryffindors were first.
Much of the school was out to watch the tryouts, eager to try and figure out whom had a chance and who had no hope.
Madame Hooch pulled out her whistle and blew loudly. Harry winced and clapped his hands over his ears, making a mental note to never stand so near the flight instructor while she had a whistle anywhere near her lips.
"Quiet!" she yelled, dropping her whistle onto her chest, and the students quickly silenced themselves. Once she was satisfied, Hooch began. "All right, now, Gryffindor tryouts are first. All those who are not trying out leave the field now. The Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw teams and potentials please go outside the pitch and if you must talk amongst yourselves, please do so quietly. Harry," she said, motioning to the Gryffindor captain.
"I want all those trying out for chasers over here," he said, pointing to the area next to Ron. Then indicating the spot next to him, he said, "I want all potential keepers here, and those trying out for beaters here…oh, hi Freed, George," Harry addressed the twins, who had just flown onto the field.
"Hey, Harry," George said, walking up and playfully ruffling Harry's already messy hair. "We thought we'd come help the houses sniff out the potential beaters."
"All the houses?" Harry asked with more than a little amusement. He sent Fred a knowing grin.
"Yes, of course," Fred replied, completely unabashed. "I have to help my boyfriend, and it wouldn't be fair to help Gryffindor and Slytherin and not the other two, now would it?"
"Touché," Harry said. He winced inwardly as Colin Creevy ran by, taking a picture of him and the two redheads.
Colin had come back to Hogwarts with the brilliant idea of creating Hogwarts first ever yearbook. Albus had agreed, and Harry would like nothing more than Harry would like nothing more than to hex both the younger wizard and the Headmaster into the next millennium.
Colin had asked the Headmaster on Saturday, unbeknownst to Harry, who had been too busy planning the romantic dinners. Imagine his surprise when Colin showed up outside his door Sunday morning as he, Draco and Fred were headed for breakfast.
Colin had been following "The-Man-Who-Killed-Voldemort" all over school for the last three days, and Harry was ready to kill. As he gave Colin an insincere small smile, he wondered if he could convince Severus to give him a potion to turn Colin into a toad.
"Who's your boyfriend?" Colin asked curiously.
"Draco Malfoy," Fred replied proudly, and without hesitation.
Harry smirked as he heard the gasps and whispers spread throughout the ranks: "A Gryffindor dating a Slytherin?" "It simply isn't done." "What would a Gryffindor want with a Slytherin?" "What is Malfoy going to do to Fred?" "I bet that Slytherin git put a spell on Fred!"
The whispers kept going until Madame Hooch yelled, "That's enough! She glared until everyone shut up. "Yes, yes, we all now know what great taste Fred Weasley has in men…though Mr. Malfoy's taste in men is highly questionable," she added, giving Fred a sidelong glance. Fred stuck his tongue out at her. "But we must get started. We don't have all bloody day."
"Yeah, come on people. We haven't a lot of time! Hermione, Ginny and Alec are up first for the chasers, Seamus and Henry for beaters, and Mitchell for keeper."
"Okay, for the opposing team, let's have Dean for keeper, Neville and Martin for the beaters, Lavender, Alexandria and Courtney for Chasers!" Ron yelled out.
The candidates got on their brooms and shot off. The quaffle and the bludgers were released, and Harry, Ron, Hooch, Fred and George watched as the potentials battled each other for the quaffle and for positions with the team. Those choosing stood on the ground took notes from time to time.
Harry was impressed by the way Hermione played. She was aggressive and took chances whenever available. Ginny was just as good. She was fast and could turn on a knut.
"Whoa! Bloody hell! Did you see that?" Fred exclaimed, wide-eyed.
"What?" Ron and Harry asked at the same time. They had been looking in the opposite direction, and they hadn't seen what Fred was referring to.
Neville just killed that bludger! He's a natural. Look! There he goes again."
Ron and Harry watched as a bludger sailed Neville's way after being slammed by Seamus. Neville casually whacked the ball toward Hermione, who dodged it easily. She tried to score on Dean, but he was having none of that. He caught the quaffle and tossed it to Lavender.
After ten minutes, Harry called the teams in and the next set took flight. Soon they were finished with all the hopefuls, and George and Fred handed Harry their recommendations for the beaters and alternates before heading over to Draco, who was getting the potentials for the Slytherin team organized. A small smile crept up on Harry's face as he watched Fred give Draco a kiss in front of the entire school.
The man with the dark billowing robes that was walking across the grass drew his attention away. Harry winked when Severus glanced his way, and he spotted the barest hint of a smile escape the potion master's icy public exterior.
The Slytherin tryouts went just as well, and everyone was quite professional in their behavior toward Draco, none of the usual jeering or sneering or threatening that usually took place when Draco and the other Slytherins were in the same vicinity. This was the Quidditch pitch, and Draco ruled all out here. It helped that all Slytherins had a common goal: kicking the Gryffindors' arses, and winning the Cup.
The rest of the week was relatively peaceful. Nothing more than the excitement of whom was going to be picked for the house teams. On Friday, Neville didn't even blow up his cauldron…a momentous occasion.
On Saturday morning, Madame Hooch posted the final rosters for the new season's house Quidditch teams. The students scrambled out of bed early to get a look at the parchments posted next to the Great Hall.
All, that is except for the captains of the top two teams of the school. Draco was still asleep on the couch of his and Harry's quarters, wrapped around a certain redhead who had decided to come and spend his Friday night talking and snogging with Draco. Harry was happily on the receiving end of a bed-breaking fuck at the hands of his lover, his 'punishment' for teasing Severus during dinner the night before.
Severus also made a mental note to buy the young Gryffindor some more pickles.
The students that did make it down to the Great Hall early pointed and exclaimed and discussed the new players, and chatted about which team had the best chance of winning the Cup this year.
The most talked about were the Gryffindor and Slytherin teams, which all had to admit, had the most likely chances of winning, if the tryouts were any indication.
The Gryffindor team, led by team captain and seeker Harry Potter, was as follows:
Chasers: Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, and Hermione Granger
Beaters: Seamus Finnegan and Neville Longbottom
Keeper: Dean Thomas
Seeker: Harry Potter
The Slytherin team, which only needed a new chaser and new beaters, and led by captain and seeker Draco Malfoy, was as follows:
Chasers: Pansy Parkinson, who was the new addition, Blaise Zabini,
and Graham Pritchard.
Beaters: Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle
Keeper: Alexandra Barrett
Seeker: Draco Malfoy
When Hermione saw that she had made the team, she let out an uncharacteristic girly squeal of joy and threw herself at Ron. Once she realized what she'd done, she pulled away quickly and blushed.
Ginny came up, saw her name and flung herself first at Ron, then at Hermione, then at anyone else she could get her hands on. She had been practicing so hard all summer, and it had paid off nicely. She couldn't wait for the new season.
The three practically skipped into the Hall to eat.

Monday morning dawned bright and sunny, despite last night's promise of impending showers.
Harry stumbled out of his bed, where he had spent the night, much to his irritation, and drug himself into Severus' rooms and to the coffeepot. He poured himself a cup of coffee, and downed it as fast as the hot liquid would allow. He poured himself another cup, and he poured a cup to take to Draco.
Severus walked out of the bathroom fully dressed. He repressed the urge to laugh as he took a look at his nephew's best friend. His pajama bottoms were a twisted giant wrinkle, and he had creases from the sheets and pillowcase all over his body and face. His hair was messier than normal. "You didn't sleep well last night?" Severus asked, trying to hide his amusement.
Harry gave him a halfhearted sneer. "No, I didn't. I've gotten used to having a tall, dark and sexy Slytherin wrapped around me, and lack of said Slytherin makes sleeping difficult, but he insisted on being difficult last night and wouldn't let me stay."
Severus didn't look the least bit put out. "I needed rest, and having you in my bed doesn't usually go well with sleep."
"That's just an excuse and you know it! You're still trying to deter me, despite all the times we've been together and all the time we've spent together. You're not going to win. Why don't you just give up? You always give in. You can't resist me, admit it! Then we can get on with the rest of our lives, together, for all eternity. I'm not going anywhere and I'll be damned if you can make me. Now if you will excuse me, there's a gorgeous blond in need of a caffeine transfusion." With that, Harry walked out of the room.
Severus watched with a bit of shock and disappointment. Shock, because he couldn't believe Harry was still so determined, and disappointment, because he hadn't gotten a good morning kiss.
He shrugged the disappointment off and went to drop off his things at his office before going to breakfast.
"Draco, wake up…I've got cooooffffeeeeee…"Harry teased, passing the cup underneath the blonde's nose. Draco opened his eyes and looked at the cup dreamily. He sat up and reached for the cup, a small smile growing on his lips.
Harry chuckled. Fred didn't stand a chance against a cup of coffee in the early morning hours.
Once Draco finished his cup, padded off to get another, and came back to sit back in bed, Harry asked him, "Drac, are you sure that this spell will work right? I mean, what I'm planning would be embarrassing if anyone else could see or hear me."
Draco smiled wickedly. "Of course I'm sure, Harry. We practiced it, and in front of Fred, Ron and Hermione no less, and they suspected nothing. Now just remember to place his full name in the spell, not mine for Merlin's sakes, and let the fun begin. If he doesn't attack you right after class, then I don't know what's wrong with him."
Harry laughed. "Okay, I'll give it a go."

Harry was only the tiniest bit nervous when he walked into the potions classroom. He knew today would be the perfect time to try out this spell. There was no potion to brew, and today all they were doing was taking a test and taking notes for the next class.
Harry also didn't have another class until just after lunch, so if he played his cards right, he'd have a hard time sitting down in Transfiguration.
As soon as he sat down and Severus came into the room, Harry cast the spell. The spell was an ancient one he and Draco had found in the mountain of books Draco had confiscated from his father's library before Narcissa threw him out.
The spell allowed the person who cast it to do whatever he wished without being seen, except by the person the castor names in the spell. To everyone else, he would seem to be acting just as he had before he cast the spell. It was perfect for what he had planned.
As soon as everyone was seated and quiet, Severus wrote the essay questions on the board and the students got to work. Harry knew the material like the back of his hand and he had it done in no time. It was time to put his plan into action.
Harry slowly started unbuttoning his robe. He was wearing nothing underneath, and he knew Severus would appreciate that. He slid his chair all the way back and waited for Severus to walk by. When he was near, he spread open his robe and sat back, fondling his erection.
Severus watched the students with a careful eye, not wanting any cheating to be going on under his eye. Most of the students were done, either knowing the material well, or not knowing it at all. There were a few still working, and he allowed them to continue.
Severus practically choked as he walked toward Harry's table. Harry was sitting back in his chair, his right hand slowly stroking his cock from base to tip, his finger rubbing circles around his tip, smearing the precome around the head.
Severus' eyes quickly darted around, looking to see if anyone else was watching. No one else seemed to notice.
"They can't see or hear me, Severus," Harry told him, as he ran his left hand up his chest to flick his nipple. "As long as I stay in my seat, they won't notice a thing. I think you like seeing me stroke myself, Severus, don't you? I know you can't answer, but you can tell me after class. I really want to know, Severus. Would you like to see me pleasure myself? Right here and right now? I think you do. See what happens when I don't have you to help me sleep at night? When you decide that you want to give up, I'll behave myself, love. How would you like to see me come? You'd like to see that, wouldn't you?"
Severus forced his eyes away to look at the other students. Almost all of them were done, and it would be time for him to start teaching, though how he was supposed to teach with Harry stroking himself.
"Don't worry, Severus, Draco's taking notes, so I won't miss a thing. I just want you to see me. I know you, Severus. You can teach this class in your sleep. Surely you can do so while I sit here and wank. You know what I want, Severus? I want you to bend me over your desk and fuck me senseless. I want you to do it to me hard, so hard I can be heard throughout the entire castle. I want you feast on me, to mark me, to make me yours, to let me know how much you love me. I know you do Severus." As Harry spoke his strokes grew faster. "You know what I feel right now? I can feel you inside of me. I can feel that big beautiful cock of yours shoved up my arse. I can feel you pounding into me, and making me beg for more. I love you, Severus. I don't want anyone but you…oh, God! Watch me as I come, Severus…" Harry gasped as he spurted all over himself.
Severus, while his appearance showed no outward sign of change, inwardly melted. He was so hard he practically came when Harry did.
"Of course, Severus, when this class is done, I fully expect you to make good on my fantasy," Harry said when he came back to his right mind.
Severus sneered at the class. "I take it you are all through with your tests. Pass them to the front of the class.
He collected the parchment rolls and stalked to the front of the class. He turned around and forced his eyes to keep from staring at the mostly naked man sitting in the front row. He could also see the smirk on Draco's face. It would figure he had helped Harry come up with this. Draco had as much as said that Harry and he belonged together, and he would dedicate as much time as possible to getting them together permanently.
Severus taught class as well as he could and before the class was over, Harry re-buttoned his robe and took off the spell.
"Class is over, now go away. Mr. Potter, would you please stay behind? I need to speak with you about an important matter."
"Yes, sir," Harry replied, sending Draco a wink. He stayed in his seat as Draco tugged Ron and Hermione away.
As soon as Severus was sure no student was coming back, he locked the door and put a silencing spell on the room. He then walked over to where Harry was sitting and stood behind the young man. He leaned down to whisper in his ear. "An interesting show you put on for me, Mr. Potter. However, you will pay for that showy little display. I believe that you deserve punishment for your behavior. By all rights I should simply make you unbearably hard and send you on your way. But that would do nothing for me. So I believe I will take my pleasure with you now and dole out due punishment tonight…what do you think, Mr. Potter?"
Harry shifted in his seat so that he could get a better view of the potions professor. "I think I like that idea very much, Sev."

As Draco saw Harry walk into the Great Hall at lunchtime, he bit his lip to keep from laughing. He knew instantly that Harry's plan had worked, mostly by the way he was slowly walking. Obviously his uncle had given Harry exactly what he had asked for.
Harry sat down and smiled at Draco. Draco just shook his head and continued eating.
"What did Professor Snape want to talk to you about?"
"Nothing, really. Just some more talk about the situation with the threats, that's all," Harry said. He didn't really lie: he and Severus had talked about that…after Severus had slammed him into the desk.

Monday night after dinner, Harry, Ron, Draco, Hermione and Ginny all walked toward Gryffindor Tower to do homework and spend some time together.
None of them noticed the eyes that watched them enter the Tower.
