Garden Angels

The Garden Angels of The Mississippi Renaissance Garden is a dynamic service organization that provides leadership, manpower, and creative energy for special events and fundraising initiatives. Active Volunteer Garden Angels provide volunteer hours that encompass many functions, and Contributing Garden Angels lend financial support to the mission of the garden.

The benefits of Garden Angels Membership include service opportunities, preferential seating at special events, networking, and the opportunity to work with others who share a strong commitment to The Mississippi Renaissance Garden and all that it stands for. This diverse group has varied talents and interests ranging from gardening, the environment, art and education, to fundraising, event planning, personal enrichment, and securing the future of The Renaissance Garden.

Volunteer Garden Angels are needed to conduct tours of the garden, plant and tend the gardens, present guest lectures, help with grounds maintenance, teach gardening classes and perform numerous other tasks necessary to run the Renaissance Garden.

Contributing Angels are vital to carrying out the primary mission of the Renaissance Garden, which is to provide free access to the garden. Funds also help build and maintain the gardens, acquire plants and flowers, provide fountains and garden sculptures, pay operating expenses and assure the future of the Garden for posterity.

Contributing Garden Angels may become annual sponsors at a level of their choice. These levels are listed in our Levels of Sponsorship pamphlet.
