He is linked with war , the geographical limit sare not defined , and with a comet..all standard warnings for the Antichrist and the coming Millenium.An unresloved and futuristic quatrain. |

| This must be a futuristic quatrain leading to the Millenium.As I say in my discussion of the Jewish sources for the Millenium,seven great disasters have to accumulate and come together to give warning of its actual coming and the Third Antichrist.Phenomena such as showers of blood,Saturn in a bad aspect and war, together with some great evil affecting the Vatican and the poacy and a naval war, are all portents.Nostradamus intended the reader to take note of these events and try to halt them , but the way the world is going, this tragically seems unlikely |

| The two will not remain allied for long Within thirteen years they give into barbarian power. There will be such a loss on both sides that one will bless the barque (of Peter) and it's leader. |
| I feel the clue to this quatrain lies in 11.XXX1X , when Nostradamus writes of the day the "two great leaders will be friends "and this is reported to "the man of blood", the Antichrist.He gives differing views on the length of the alliance between the two great powers, the USA and USSR, with the commencement of the inf treaty. In another quatrain he says it will last only "three years seven months". In V111.LXXV11 he states the war which results as the breakdown of this alliance will last twenty- seven years and will be initiated by the Third Antichrist, this dating would bring us past the Millenium. Nostradamus is somewhat confused as to the exact date of the alliance and war, but definite that they will occur.Why , the then pope, the final pope if we believe Nostradamus and Malachy, should be blessed for his actions, remains to be seen, because in other quatrains Nostradamus implies that he fled Rome. |

| The king will want to enter the New City they will come to subdue it through its enemies. A captive, falsely faced to speak and act. The king to be outside he will stay far from the enemy. |
| The cite` neufue entrer may refer to New York been actually attaked during a war.This has not happened to date, so this quatrain must be regarded as futuristic and probably a Millenium quatrain aswell..see X.XLIX where Nostradamus sees New York as being attaked through its water supply.The king outside (Roy dehors eftre) may refer to the President of the United States and other essential staff, holed up in a secret underground bunker away from the city, from which they will continue to direct the war. |
