The garden of the world near New York City in the road of the hollow mountains, It will be siezed and plunged in the tank forced to drink water poisoned with sulphur.

This extraordinary quatrain talks of a city, New York, being poisoned through its water supply, an idea more suited to James Bond than to Nostradamus  . The cite` neufue is New York,The lardin  du monde  is possibly  a way of describing  a street lined with sky -scrapers?The tank is unclear , it could well mean a reservoir which becomes poisoned by sulphuric acid..This is not as unlikely as one might think,A similar thing happened in  Britain in summer 1988 whena load of  chemicals  was wrongly dumped into a reservoir.

Seven is always an important number for numerologists, it signifies many things.Nostradamus predicts that  at the time of the seventh number (does this  mean at the end of the seventies?)war will break out at an immense scale. In a sense this has been true, with localised war breaking out all over the world.The date of the final war , will be not far from the Millenium.The last line is purely horrific.Does Nostradamus have a vision of the second judgement?
