Hanyou on the Rampage
While everyone is still fussing over Inuyasha, Shippo and Kirara are standing aside, looking completely helpless. Then the kitsune sniffs something in the air, and starts to scream in terror. Soon his screaming turned into sobbing. This caught everyone's attention.

“Why are you crying, brat!?" Inuyasha is getting very irritated, and Shippo's sobbing isn't helping.

In between sobs, Shippo manages to say, "They're...almost...going...to start!"

Inuyasha's body turns stiff again. "What... did... you... say?!?!?!"

Sango turns to look at Shippo and asks, "Shippo-chan, how do you know that? The mouth of the cave is covered with vines."

Shippo is desperately trying to control himself. *sniff* "I can smell Kouga; he smells like my father whenever I go out to play!"

On hearing this, Inuyasha forgot all about the numbness and tries to stand once again. But his body wouldn't obey. His amber eyes look like they're on fire, but he also look like he's about to cry at the same time.

Miroku stood up, leaving Inuyasha to Sango's care. He pulls out some talismans from his robe, chanting incoherently, and threw the talismans toward the cave. The talismans met with a blue lightning, and were burnt into crisps instantly. The Houshi cursed under his breath.

Seeing how Miroku's attempt has also failed, Sango pulls out her Hiraikotsu, aiming at the mouth of the cave. She threw it, but it didn't work. Instead of trying again, Sango cried out: "Kouga! Don't do this! This is rape!" Sango's voice is trembling, she sounded like she's about to cry as well. The thought of Kagome being raped terrified her best friend.

Kouga has been staring at Kagome's face for the past 2 minutes, his mind is somewhere else. He has not heard Sango's attempt to reach him.

Sango kept on yelling for a minute, and then she collapsed to the ground, sobbing into her hand. "I can't help Kagome-chan."

Miroku walks over to the girl, putting his hand onto her shoulder, nobody is making a sound.

Inuyasha looked at Shippo and Sango, both crying because they feel like they can't help out their best friend. Why? The hanyou asked himself. Kagome...my Kagome... rape... yes, this is rape. And I can't do anything to stop it...

Without realizing it, tears started to flow out Inuyasha's eyes as well. He hasn't cried ever since his mother passed away. I've never felt so helpless. Not even when I lost Kikyo. "Kagome... "He whispered, "If I can't protect you, then I'll never forgive myself."

Right now a bystander is looking at everyone with deep respect and sorrow. So this is their bond.

"Maybe I can do it." The miko-in-training suddenly spoke up. Everyone stopped and looked up at her with some doubt in their eyes. Haruko merely ignored them. She took out some herbs she prepared before she left home and walked toward Inuyasha. "Here, these can heal your paralyses, but they work kind of slow." Then she turned toward the barrier and draws out an arrow. As she takes aim, her eyes shifted toward Inuyasha's direction. He already ate the herbs, and is currently watching her. Her heart skipped a beat. The girl forced herself to concentrate on her power. And in a flash, she sends out a miko arrow. The arrow hit the barrier on full contact. It didn't quite pierce through, but wasn't deflected either. Instead, it was trying to penetrate it for some time, but was finally surrounded by the blue lighting and burnt to ash.

"It almost worked!" Miroku cheered.

Haruko sighed. "Why not combine our attacks at that spot, it has already been weakened."

"Good idea." Inuyasha's eyes have already dried, although he still can't move, new hopes are rising inside of him.

On three, Miroku sent out five talismans, Sango threw her Hiraikotsu, and Haruko shot another arrow, all at the same spot. The Talisman and the arrow stayed while the Hiraikotsu bounced back. The barrier’s blue lightning flickered and tried to engulf the two weapons. But Sango just kept on throwing the Hiraikotsu, and diverted the lightning to other directions. Seeing how their combined attacks still hasn't completely penetrated the barrier, Haruko shot another arrow, this time, they got a little closer.

"At this rate," Miroku yelled, "Haruko-sama will run out of arrows and we still wouldn't be able to penetrate the barrier."

"How about I give it a go." An arrogant voice rang behind them. They didn't need to turn around to see who it was.

"Good to have you back, Inuyasha." Miroku cheered.

"Keh," Inuyasha turned to Haruko, "Thanks for the medicine, bitch, although it was a little late."

Haruko is already used to Inuyasha's insults, she just grunted and kept on shooting arrows after arrows.

"Oi, ya know, you can stop now." Inuyasha smirked.

Haruko stopped to look at him in surprise. "But what about Kagome-sama?"

"I said you can stop now," Inuyasha's smirk got bigger, "stay back and watch, bitch."

Inuyasha draws out the Tessaiga, leaped about twenty feet into the fair, and took a swing at the barrier. At that moment, the Tessaiga changed color to a crimson red, like the color of blood. Haruko is completely entranced into the attack. She watched as Inuyasha brought down the sword, easily cutting Kouga's barrier in two. The blue lightning went away in less than a second.

"Youshi!" Inuyasha cried out in triumph. The Tessaiga's color changed back to normal. Wasting no time, Inuyasha ran into the cave, his father's fang in hand. His companions followed. Even Shippo looks ready to kick Kouga's ass. Inside the cave, Kouga is bending over Kagome, completely naked. He has not heard the noise outside, still transfixed on Kagome's face. On seeing Kouga like this, Sango and Haruko turned around at once, both blushing. Miroku looks pissed, but his rage is nothing compared to Inuyasha.

"BASTARD!" Inuyasha cursed, "What the FUCK do you think you’re doing to Kagome!" Inuyasha's aura just enflamed, all the water from the Sea of Japan wouldn't cool him down now. First thing he needs to do was to get Kouga away from Kagome, lure him outside, then kill the wolf with Kaze no Kizu, once and for all.

Kouga finally looked up. On seeing the unwelcome guests had interrupted his mating time, the first thing that came to his mind was to kill all of them. Leaving Kagome in his bed, he leaped and aimed a kick at Inuyasha’s head while yelling: “Son of a bitch, Kagome’s mine! Get out!"

Inuyasha quickly blocked the attack with his Tessaiga, but somehow he was also pushed back a few feet. "Damn it" the hanyou yelled to Miroku while blocking another kick from Kouga, "How did this bastard get so strong?"

Miroku and Shippo dodged the two and ran to Kagome, "Youkai are very protective during mating, so of course he's stronger than usual." Miroku checked Kagome's pulse first, see that she's just asleep, he let out a sigh of relief. Shippo shook Kagome's arm and took a whif. The kitsune squealed in happiness, "She still smells like Kagome!"

Inuyasha mumbled while blocking one attack after another: "Damn it, I'm suppose to be the one attacking him!" Then he suddenly realized that two people weren't doing anything. "Hey!" He yelled at the girls, "What are you guys doing just standing there?!"

Sango and Haruko blushed again, still facing the other way. Miroku noticed and answered for them. "If you haven't noticed, Inuyasha, Kouga's naked!" How can he be so dense and blind?

The hanyou finally realized that Kouga wasn't wearing anything. This has finally driven him to the edge. He clenched his teeth together, let out his most fearsome growl, gripped his Tessaiga even tighter and aimed at the wolf youkai. "BASTARD, I'LL KILL YOU!!! Kaze no Kizu!!!" Without thinking he swung the sword toward Kouga.

"Inuyasha, don't!!!" Miroku screamed. But it was too late, as the attack has been released, aiming straight for Kouga and where Kagome is lying.

Kouga dodged out of the way of the attack, and ran to help Kagome. Inuyasha saw it as an attempt to take her so he jumps to stop Kouga. The beam from the Kaze no Kizu is still going. Miroku picked up Kagome and grabbed Shippo with his other hand, running for the exit.

But the five beams were going straight for him, seeing how Miroku and Kagome were in trouble, Kirara flew to their side and Miroku climbed on with the still unconscious miko and a shrieking kitsune. Finally ignoring the naked Kouga, the two girls turned around just as Kirara flew back. Sango took the chance to curse at Inuyasha, "Baka, you could've killed Kagome and Miroku!"

Inuyasha turned around in surprise, giving Kouga the chance to kick him down. At the same moment, the cave is caving in due to the attack. Large sizes of rocks are falling down. Everyone jumps on Kirara and was out of the cave before the mouth was blocked. Unfortunately, Inuyasha was still down from that kick, and Kouga is putting on his clothes, which took him two seconds. Then the wolf youkai used his two shards and turned into a tornado while rushing out of the cave. Inuyasha is desperately trying to stand up, just then a large rock was falling directly toward his head.

"Baka, watch out!" Haruko screamed, picking up Inuyasha's bad habits of cursing.

The hanyou quickly sliced the rock with his sword and leapt out, wasting no time to curse at Kouga.

"Bastard, come back here and fight like the piece of shit you are!"

But instead Kouga ran toward Kagome, who's currently still lying in Miroku's arm. Over protectively he tried to knock Miroku's arms aside. But all he got was a fiery stare from the Houshi and: "Kouga, personally I have nothing against you. But what you tried to do to Kagome-sama is absolutely unforgivable." His stare was noticed by everyone, and surprised everyone. "If you attempt to take her again, I'll have no choice but to use my kazaana."

His actions are mostly noticed by Sango. Houshi-sama...

Seeing how he can't get Kagome away from Miroku, Kouga directed his anger toward Inuyasha. Inuyasha is pissed off big time, so he isn't backing away either. Realizing his mistake from inside the cave, Inuyasha knew he couldn't use Kaze no Kizu with his friends in his range. So he withdrew Tessaiga and tried to lure Kouga away.

"Dumbass wolf," He taunted, "I'd die before I'd let you touch a hair on Kagome's head. Sakontesou!" He ran toward Kouga while trying to slice him. Kouga quickly dodged out of the way and was just about to give the hanyou another kick when Shippo jumped on his head and covered his eyes.

Even Inuyasha was shocked by the kistune's display of courage. Shippo yelled out in anger: "How could you do that to Kagome! Inuyasha, he can't see, slice him to pieces!"

Inuyasha smirked. Guess those candies we fed him paid off.

But before he can attack, Kouga grasped Shippo, picked him up by his tail and threw him toward the stream. The poor kitsune not only got wet but his skin was also scraped by the rocks in the stream. Sango rushed over with Kirara to check out the crying Shippo.

Despite how he usually acts, everyone knew that Inuyasha was rather fond of the kitsune. Now that Kouga has gotten another one of his companions hurt, the hanyou's rage has risen to another level. He charged at the wolf youkai once again, Kouga dodged by rolling sideways on the ground. Inuyasha pursued with a punch, but missed and made a pit in the earth. Not slowing down a single bit the Hanyou aimed one punch after another at the wolf youkai.

The speed of Inuyasha's punches made it impossible for Kouga to stand up, much less to actually see where he was rolling toward. Finally the wolf was stopped by a tree; seizing the chance Inuyasha used his "claws of steel" on the youkai. "Eat this, asshole!" This time the hit was successful. Inuyasha managed o leave four bloody claw imprints on Kouga’s back and arm. Crimson blood flowed out, the youkai screamed out in gruesome pain. Inuyasha is not backing down a bit. Instead he sped up and aimed another attack, this time he sliced Kouga's chest. The nail on his index finger managed to scratch some skin off Kouga's chin and neck as well. Kouga is hurting really badly, and has absolutely no energy left to defend himself. Inuyasha's not tired at all as his energy comes from his anger.

While Kouga is lying on the ground, his back and front are all sliced up. Inuyasha picks him up by his neck, raised him high above the ground. His eyes glowed scarlet, his fangs bearing, his claws digging deeper and deeper into the skin on Kouga's neck, causing the wolf youkai to bleed even more.

"I warned you before," If he was going to kill Kouga, he might as well taunt him first. "I knew you wouldn't listen, but I never thought you'd be as stupid as to try something like this." Inuyasha exerted more strength onto Kouga's neck. "I'm not in a mood to torture you anymore, although it would've been satisfactory to tear you apart, limb by limb. Instead, I'll be kind and leave you a whole body."

Kouga had never felt fear, not even when he faced Naraku. But as of now, he has no strength, not even to curse at the hanyou. The shards in his legs are no use at all. His arms hang loosely by his sides. It wouldn't be wrong to say that he's afraid right now. He didn't look at Inuyasha, instead his eyes drifted to Kagome's direction. The miko is still unconscious, guilt surfaced his eyes. For a second Inuyasha was almost gonna let him go... almost.

If I die, who will lead the wolf pack in the future? If I die, who will avenge my dead comrades? If I die... who will take care of Ayame? Kouga didn't even realize that he thought of Ayame instead of Kagome. I made a promise to her. Although I didn't admit it, but I made a promise to Ayame that I'd take her as my mate. How can I fulfill that promise if I die?

"Kouga..." Inuyasha growled, "time to die!"
