4-3-00 It's been a rainy blah day, but we needed it for the plants and stuff so I'll get over it. The worst part is going to bed last night with a sore throat. *ugh* me and the kids were up off and on all night with the terrible effects of it. I sure hope we all sleep better tonight! If i have to sleep in the recliner again, so be it, just as long as I can sleep the whole night.

I was quite busy today, cleaned house firstly since I don't usually do anything on the weekends. By Monday the house is begging to be touched by something. So I did the usual vacuuming, dishes, loads of clothes, toys put up, things like that. Home looks normal again. :) I also installed a shelf in Sissy's closet. It's one of those small shelving units that goes along the short side of her closet. I wanted it in there since i'm keeping the changing table in there and the shelf is above it. That's where the babies clothes will hang and I stored the surplus diapers and wipes and odds and ends I've collected for this baby on top of the shelf. Sissy has the other (long) side of the closet. It looks good and I"m proud of my work. :) I"ve been waiting for Robert to do it for like 3 months now, and couldnt' wait any longer. That's my motto, if it doesn't get done, you better watch it, cause I'll find a way to do it myself. This was my first experience with a drill too, so I can chalk that one up on my list of accomplishments now too. ;)

Baby has been very active, even now is doing jumping jacks on my bladder. I've also had a lot of Braxton Hicks today. :p Not sure if it's from all the activity i did today or what. I do wish they would calm down though. It's not comfortable at all.

My stomach has been overrun. Yep. Baby is now taking up the residence my stomach used to occupy, so now when I eat I eat about as much as the kids do before that bell in my middle says "Ding ding! finish line or toss it up!" I get hungry a lot quicker too. *sigh* but i know that goes along with it. And it does keep me from stuffing myself like a Thanksgiving Turkey, well, I still feel like i'm going to pop, but I know there isnt' as much in there as usual.

I added a new page to my birth stories section. It's a page on Breastfeeding. Not a lot there, but has some good links and stuff. I'll add more later as I find more, just wanted to get it up while i was thinking of it.

I got Robert's game today that I ordered online last week. :) I'm glad it came in quickly. He's over there now plunking away on Syphonfilter 2. Hopefully this means we'll be missing the monday routine of WWF wrestling. *ick* Also got in the cloth diapers I won on E-bay! Their in great condition and stacked on my newly put up shelf in Sissy's closet, waiting for a little butt to go on. ^_^ Now I just need to get a few diaper covers for them. No biggy. I'll just keep my eyes open on the net for another good deal! he he he!

My ultrasound is Friday! I'm so happy this week is finally here! I'm really wondering how baby will measure. I hope she measures normal size like sissy did AND I hope she cooperates and lets me know for sure what sex we got growing in there. I'd hate to think i've been giving a son a complex by calling him a 'her'! :)

I think i've put on a couple pounds too. At least that's what the scales are finally saying. Though with my luck the 2 lbs on my scales will equal to 4 lbs on the Dr.s scales. oh well. I've really pooched out this month. I'm waiting to finish a role of film and when I get the pics back, i'll post my 5 months pic. I think i'll also start a 'growing' page that will show me at each month til the end of my pg. :) (Watch the amazing growing belly!)

4-5-00 I started leaking today! My milk that is. :) Yep, it's that time during pregnancy when my top half fully agrees with my bottom half that a baby is on the way! I've been waiting for it to start and was actually glad to see it here now. Just one of those nutty things I guess. ^_^

Still getting over the 'crud' today. Went and got some Sudafed, Kleenex's and cough drops. I'm sure hoping that I can sleep in the bed tonight instead of the recliner! As long as I can breathe I can.

I also got my Boppy pillow today! Yeah! This is something I got online with one of those wonderful internet coupons. It normally lists for like $20 and I got it for $20 off so I got it for free shipping at $1.95!! It's a C-shaped pillow that you can snuggle around you while nursing and it's very highly rated. When the baby is older they can use it as a prop to help them sit and stuff. As soon as Katlyn seen it, she grabbed it and wrapped it around her and took off running saying "I gonna swim mommy!" What a hoot! And of course the kids took off with the boxes like usual and have thouroughly mangled them from their play. As long as I keep the boxes away from them that have those little styrofoam peanuts I'll be sane. Once they get ahold of them, that's it!

Robert's not home yet, guess he's having to work late. I know he 'loves' that. His foot is still hurting, so I figure he'll be limping when he comes in. I"m glad i just had leftovers tonight instead of going all out for a big dinner, not that i felt like making a big dinner anyway.
