This isn't so much a service (what, I have like three regular readers?) as a plug, if someone wanders in by accident. Every so often I put something worthwhile on the Web. So when I do, I'll try to put it here.

Changes:

September 11, 2002: Top changed for the first anniversary.

March 19, 2002: Little things have been added (like the Futurama banner, which moves down now), but today the top changes to the Hersheypark Arena tribute.

Nov. 6, 2001: Changed the top to a short series of vignettes on NYC in November, including the fun of mayorals. Added the Van Nest Knights page and did some minor redesigning to fit stuff in.

Sept. 14, 2001: Changed the top in memory of the innocents and to praise my hometown.

Aug. 18, 2001: Changed the top to wonder why Eric Lindros is a Ranger for the second time.

Aug. 4, 2001: Several adds, including the Maps and Charts Section of the index page, which was added mostly to clean up my bookmarks.

July 4, 2001: Independence Day? Sorta. Changed the top to thoughts on the Adam Graves trade.

Early July, 2001: An ongoing project will add links to and revamp the Bronx Page. It's long overdue -- it hadn't been touched since 1997 -- and it's only right for the Official Homepage of the Bronx Century.

June 22, 2001: Added several links to the Roads Page, and added fantasy exit signposts off a never-built portion of the Sheridan Expressway. Huh? Click the link.

Early June, 2001: The American Hockey League Newspaper Links page should be updated as much as possible.

June 7, 2001: Added a memorial tribute to Andrew Rogers.

May 10, 2001: Added the Hockey World Champions page and stuck the Van Nest Knights logo on the main page just under the header. That'll stir up the three people that view this puppy!

April 5, 2001: Added the Armstrong Issue to the exceptions-to-the-rules page of the Cumulative Rangers Roster, 1985-2001.

March 24, 2001: Changed the top to the Spezz-Stakes, which to hear the scouts talk should have been the Cuckoo for Kovalchuk Watch all along.

Jan. 6, 2001: Changed the top to some more election bitching, this time about the Electoral College.

Nov. 26, 2000: Changed the top to the Sweet Absurdity tirade about the election.

Oct. 27, 2000 (14 years after the last time): Changed the top to the 2000 Mets tribute.

Aug. 28, 2000: Changed the top to the Toronto Travelogue.

Aug. 13, 2000: Fixed up the AHL Papers page a little.

July 13, 2000: Changed the top to the Messier welcome-back-sorta column.

June 11, 2000: Finally getting pissed off about something else, changed the top to the Open Letters tirade.

Jan. 7, 2000: Finally added the Five Years Ago project on the 1994 New York Rangers.

Jan. 6, 2000: Wow are we outta date. Anyway, changed to the Overtime Tirade.

Sept. 15, 1999: Top changes to Hacker's Dictionary.

July 15, 1999: Top changes to the Jumble.

Sometime in June: Cleanups on several pages, including the Nighthawks page.

May 27, 1999: Top changes to May 27, 1994.

May 4, 1999: Added a resume, mostly because I've badmouthed online resumes in the past (I've said there's no way they can do anything for you...maybe this one will prove me wrong).

April 18, 1999: There were other things in between, but this date saw the change of the top to the Gretzky tribute.

November 29, 1998: Added the Kovalev-Nedved Comparison Page.

November 19, 1998: As the Rangers reached the Century Mark, supplemental-tiraded on The Last Ranger Shorthanded Goal.

October 22, 1998: I believe I changed the top..

September 9, 1998: Holy cow, he did it! Sixty-two for McGwire. And you think I can avoid talking about it?

August 20, 1998: Changed the top to Private Ryan reflections.

June 21, 1998: Changed the top to the Matteau numerology question...

June 17, 1998: Updated the AHL Papers page.

May 29, 1998: Tacked on the You May Remember tribute of all tributes to the Man, Phil Hartman.

May 15, 1998: The record shows, I took the blows..."My Way" lyrics added in tribute to a guy who knew how to record, baby.

April 26, 1998: Changed the top to the end of the AHL season.

Mar. 28, 1998: Changed the top to reflect upon the Ranger trades. Added the Tirade Archive to the bottom.

Mar. 4, 1998: Big day at the Nighthawk page! Added Tom Colley Night note; added Ralph Slate's Nighthawk stats.

Feb. 25-ish: Got indignant about Nykesha Sales on top. Added the no-flying-chair logo.

Feb. 18, 1998: Thanks, Team USA -- for, well, keeping me up late at night. The page goes black in ''tribute.'' Ugh. I will be conversant on things other than Olympic hockey for the next little while...

Feb. 8, 1998: Found something new for the top -- Olympic hockey. Don't expect me to be conversant on much else for the next little while. The old pop-up essay is kept on at the imaginitive filename of popup.html.

Jan. 27, 1998: Buncha subtle changes, corrections, and minor additions. I'll eventually figure out something new to do with the top.

Jan. 3, 1998: Changed the Radio page from a bunch of random links to a 1960s Top 40 links page.

Dec. 28ish, 1997: Changed the entire feel and focus of the page. Organized links into groups and added the internal links at the top of the page. Added and deleted a few links. Changed the top to bitch and moan about the pop-up ad GeoCities has sprung on us, and added the theoretical survey about it. The old Christmas top gets kept as its own page, xmas.html.

December 6, 1997: Ho, ho, ho, who wouldn't go...to the top of my page to see the updated version of the Fornabaio Essential Christmas Album?

November 19, 1997: Added an old Nighthawk logo to the Nighthawk Tribute Page, courtesy of an old scan by Ralph Slate.

November 11, 1997: Dylan I'm not (duh), but worked a little harder on the top and finished the parody verse. Aren't you all happy? Also changed the NH Register link to the sports page. Because if you want real news, read the CT Post. If you want sports, read the Post first and then check the Register out for, like, Cheshire swimming.

November 7, 1997: Changed the top (finally) and added an ER link. Anticipated more, but thought better of it (it's late).

October 30, 1997: Added link to Matt's floor hockey team's page, Chaos.

October 16, 1997: Sheepishly updated the Nighthawk tribute page to note that the Beast exist (or at least have been named). Added a link to Wolfie's Beast Page.

October 3, 1997: A trend--I've got to be kinda depressed and unable to sleep to update these pages. :-) Nah, just an overload of information (and a dearth of sleep). Added the Hartford Wolf Pack's opening-night roster. Added the update to the 1994 Where are they now page.

October 2, 1997: Seeing as how I've got a real Web browser now (two, actually...long story), and don't have to sit on the space bar with lynx (though text-only is pretty cool), the order of the links has been rearranged. It now sorta reflects importance...or at least, my own personal usage. Also, having hung out on nyc.transit more often than useful, added a links page for highways. Corrected several out-o'-date links, and added links to South Park pages and Audionet.

September 14, 1997: What's new? Um, well, this. At 6:40 GMT (2:40 EDT) the last page was updated and corrected for Geo-dom, and this officially replaced Columbia as my own personal official corner of cyberspace. (I know, yer all thrilled)

July 31, 1997: Added the Messier rememberance page to my Ranger page.

May 19, 1997: Changed the bottoms of every page to reflect impending graduation, to return people to the homepage rather than the temporary front, and to make sure people sent stuff to worldnet rather than here.

April 28, 1997: Changed the top to my reaction to two playoff games at the Garden.

March 26, 1997: Changed the top from Herb Caen/Curt Flood tribute to Baseball tribute. Added NCAA results to my fencing page.

March 25, 1997: Corrected Bob Gutkowski's note and updated Eddie O's on the 1994 Rangers page.

March 11, 1997: With my head still spinning from the trade, I added some notes about the Russ Courtnall/Esa Tikkanen/Sarge Nemchinov/Brian Noonan trade. Head spinning further, having noticed that Monday the 10th was 1000 days since the Cup win, I put up my own little where-are-they-now about that team.

Links may not be to where the pages originally were, but more to where they are now.
