Very simple reason as to the no pics rule: for most of the time it's been in existence, my page was on Columbia University's system, and I was logging in on my little old text-only account. So I couldn't check pictures, and so I didn't use them.

That situation has changed a VERY TINY BIT as of November 19, 1997. Check out the Nighthawks Tribute Page and try and figure out why. :-)
