The Kappa Alpha Theta
Foundation was founded in 1960 to raise funds to
support philanthropic and educational opportunities
for the members of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity.
Today, the Foundation has held true to its mission
of “strengthening and empowering members
through philanthropy and education.” Created
by Thetas, for Thetas, the Kappa Alpha Theta
Foundation is dedicated to raising money through
our members and friends to strengthen our
fraternity via scholarships, educational and
leadership opportunities and the support of sisters
in times of need.

Ever After Gowns is
a Minnesota based non-profit corporation dedicated
to supporting Twin Cities-area young women by
providing them with new and gently used formal
gowns and accessories to be worn to their high
school prom.
This organization was started
by a group of Minneapolis Thetas who saw a need in
our community, Ever After Gowns provides a
“personal shopping" experience for women
(pre-selected by their high school guidance
counselors, based on financial need) and offers
them the opportunity to select from a dazzling
array of gowns. The gown they choose is theirs to
keep, free of charge. We offer gowns in a variety
of styles and sizes in order to meet a wide range
of tastes and needs.
This organization has grown
in the past few years, but the Minneapolis Alumnae
Chapter continues to support Ever After Gowns each
year donating and volunteering at the boutique.
