JC sat up and looked around, he was in his messed up bedroom lying next to Justin. He didn’t remember coming home last night, he didn’t remember much of anything after he left Justin in that small room last night. JC pulled the covers off his self and climbed out of his bed and pulled on a shirt lying on the floor. Just as he was about to walk into the bathroom the phone started to ring. He just wanted a day where his phone wouldn’t ring, a day where people would leave him be. He was slowly losing his lover to another person, a girl at that and he wasn’t ready for that.
“Hello?” JC asked slowly standing next to the table in which the phone base was at.
“Hey Joshua, have you seen Justin or know where he might be?” Lynn asked sitting next to Laura at Justin’s place.
“Actually…” JC stopped when a pair of arms went around his waist pulling him backwards.
Justin’s chin rested on JC’s right shoulder and kissed his neck lightly. “Whose on the phone?” Justin whispered lightly.
“He is right here. He crashed here last night.” JC said handing Justin the phone and pulling out of his arms, he quickly walked to the bathroom leaving Justin on the phone.
Justin frowned when he heard his mom’s voice on the other end. He frowned because he was leading her on to believe that he was in love with Laura, that he was happy with her.
“Justin Randall Timberlake, who on earth do you think you are?” Lynn asked
“Uh… I’m Justin Randall Timberlake, I thought you made that clear.” Justin stated annoyed already at how this was going.
“You know what I mean, You don’t just go out with friends and then not come home. Laura is freaking out, she was going to call the cops, and report you missing.” Lynn snapped at her son.
“If I were missing I would be happier… MOM, just leave me alone.” Justin snapped back slamming the phone down. He turned around and walked towards the bathroom where the shower was running; with out knocking Justin pushed open the bathroom door and walked in. He sat the toilet lid down and sat down, sighing mostly to him self.
“I can’t get married Josh. I just can’t, I hate her… I hate her because having her around, means that people don’t like the fact that you and I are not just a you and I we are an Us, a We.” Justin said closing his eyes.
The water turned off and JC’s voice came clear. “A verbal contract is just as binding as a signed one on paper.” He said pulling a towel around his waist and stepping out of the shower walking to the sick to brush his teeth and shave.
“Let’s just leave.” Justin said raising his eyes to look at JC’s side profile; he had lost more weight.
“We can’t just leave, we have to get a CD out, do TV shows and go on tour, also, your wedding is in 7 weeks.” JC said not looking at Justin as he put toothpaste on his toothbrush and started to brush his teeth.
“I’m not talking about for ever, just for a few days. I have that loft up in Seattle; I haven’t been there for a while. We can fly up there and just stay a few days, you and I. No Laura, no Johnny, no guys, no one but us.” Justin said standing up and leaning up against the wall.
JC lathered up the shaving creamed and slowly put it on his face, his eyes met Justin’s in the mirror. He could tell Justin was tore up in side about the whole wedding thing, he could tell Justin was trying to make it up to him.
“We have a photo shoot today, and an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine about your wedding. We just can’t leave like that, you know it and I know it.” JC’s voice was low as he slowly looked away from Justin and back at his face where he was shaving.
“We are going, I don’t care what you say. I’ll get the tickets for this afternoon, after the interview. Just you and me.” Justin smiled wrapping his arms around JC’s small frame; he pulled away and ran out of the bathroom. “Three days, just you and I up in the loft in Seattle. Sounds like Heaven to me, if I do say so my self. No phone calls any unwanted people. Just us.” Justin’s voice was far away and then close again as he stopped in front of the bathroom door with his cell phone up to his ear. “Hey Billy! Yeah, it’s Justin… Yeah I know long time since I called you and not someone from WEG. I want to get two tickets to Seattle for this afternoon, Josh and I have some business to do up there. I don’t care how much they are, I do have a LOT of money.” Justin half smiled looking at JC from the door.
“Okay, two tickets to Seattle Washington, your flight leaves at 6 o’clock tonight. The price is pretty high since it is a last minute thing. Want me to charge it?” Billy asked he typed some stuff up on his computer.
“Yes sir, and Billy have a wonderful day.” Justin smiled hanging up the phone. “All is a go for tonight, I’ll help you pack.” Justin smiled leaving the bathroom door and walking towards JC’s bedroom
Justin pulled up to the location of the photo shoot with JC right behind him in his car. They were a little over a half-hour late, but being as it was Justin and JC, not many would care. JC turned off his car and got out, the moment he was out ten people were around him prepping him for the shoot, and the interview while each member was photographed by them self.
“Why you two late?” Joey asked stuffing a few chips into his mouth.
“I woke up late, and I haven’t got a clue as to why he is late, ask him your self.” JC said sitting in chair as make-up was caked on his face.
“I for got there was a photo shoot.” Justin half shrugged as his makeup was put on his face.
Justin grabbed a pair of dark blue CK jeans that were faded in places and ripped up in other places. His shirt was white short sleeved, and tight it had the words “Player” printed in bold letters across his chest. Joey was wearing loose fitted Levi’s in the color of light blue, and a shirt that had playboy bunny drawings in black all over the ends of the sleeves. JC was wearing blue jeans and a green shirt while Chris pulled on blue jeans with pink paint stains on them, and a shirt that had a huge peace sign on it. Lance was wearing baggy blue jeans and a quicksilver long sleeved shirt.
“You understand it’s about 80° out here right?” Chris asked pushing Lance into Joey.
“What I understand is that you have a five year older daughter that acts ten years older then you.” Lance smirked slamming his shoulder into Chris, causing Chris to slam into Justin who in turn slammed into JC.
JC fell backwards and landed on the table full of things for them to sign. His eyes shot up and glared at Justin, telling him he was pissed off at what had just taken place. Justin grabbed JC’s hand and helped him up; the moment he was standing on his own Justin pulled his hand back quickly. Megan, the photographer grabbed Justin’s arm and pulled him towards the camera. He was up first, while the other guys got to be interviewed.
“So, We’ve worked with you once before, now you guys are going to be on the cover. Maybe next time we’ll have you with your shirts off.” Katie winked as she pressed record on her tape recorder, she turned and pressed record on the video camera, it made it easier for her to write up if she had both.
“You can use Justin for that one, he likes to take his clothes off.” Chris smiled talking loud enough for Justin to hear him; he leaned back and looked at Justin.
“I’ll try and remember that.” Katie smiled as she flipped through a few notes, “Let’s start off with a few easy questions, shall we, I say a word and each of you say the first thing that comes to mind.”
“Right on, I love these games, it’s like on friends, where…” Lance was cut off by Joey’s hand slamming against the back of his head.
“We all know you are in love with the show Lance, but you don’t need to run off the poor magazine people.” Joey half laughed.
“Money” Katie said the first word
“Food” Lance’s lower the usual voice came out first followed by Chris, Joey, and then JC, Justin was close enough to answer, which was the soul purpose for the interview and photo shoot.
“Cool whip.”
“Sex.” Joey and JC’s answer came out together, and the fact that they were the same things made them both laugh.
“Friend.”
“Justin” JC said
“Love” Lance half looked up
“Bed” Justin smiled for the camera
Katie laughed a little, she hadn’t met the guys but one time, two years ago, they weren’t as out spoken about sex and love as much as they were two years later, it could have been the fact that they were all older and more mature.
Chris was called up next to be photographed, Justin sat down in his place, and the ‘real’ interviewing took place.
“So Justin, how is your love life?” Katie asked looking down at her notes then back up at Justin.
“My love life is different, good… I’m getting married.” Justin said biting his lip, he hadn’t said the words to many people and in the corner of his eye he could see JC’s sad expression.
