Activities

The MOMS Club® of Newbury Park, CA offers many activities for the stay-at-home mom. Our playgroups are age-based in addition to having all age events throughout the month for everyone to attend. 

Park Day and the General Business Meeting are a couple of activities for non-members to learn more about the club. We offer park days twice a week and the general business meeting is held the first Tuesday of every month. You can attend up to 2 events prior to paying any dues. Playgroups. Each playgroup has a coordinator that helps the smaller group decide each weekly activity. Some hold playgroups at each other's homes, others may meet at local venues or parks. Currently we have the following groups, but are adding new groups as our club grows!:

Current Groups and Meeting Times:
Saplings (infant to 1 yr) - will begin meeting in January 2008
Fun on the Run (1-3 yrs) - Wed 10 am
Busy Bees (2-3 yrs) - Thurs 10 am

Mom's Night Out This event is held monthly and is just that, Mom's night out. It is a chance for you to have a night to yourself without the kids. Come and join us for some stimulating conversation with some fun.

Holidays. Holidays are another chance for the entire MOMS Club ® chapter to get together. Bringing the kids along, holiday gatherings are fun and filled with crafts, fun, and celebrations.

MOMS Welcome Brunch is held every annually at a local park or a member's home. The Board Members and the Hospitality Committee host this event and provide food and fun for all members and their children. It's a wonderful opportunity for members to meet new members and their children.

Board and MOMS Club® Meetings are held monthly.
