Purchase a quilt raffle ticket to benefit the building fund!
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 - available at the library.
Drawing will be on December 6, 2003 at 2 pm.
Quilt was donated by the Triangle Fiber Arts Guild.

Main Level

  • New Children's Room including Young Adult and Parent Resource Area
  • Restoration of original building as Reading and Reference Area
  • New Circulation Area with Staff Workroom
  • Enclosed Genealogy Area

Basement Level

  • Community Room accessible to organizations after library hours
  • Amphitheater and sidewalk for outdoor Summer Programs
  • Programming Area for year-round use

Upper Level

  • New Museum space with permanent display in climate controlled area
  • Existing museum space will be restored to an Auditorium

Parking Lot

  • New parking lot offering easy access for handicapped patrons will be added at the rear of the library.

All levels will be handicapped accessible.

Estimated Cost to complete this project: $3.5 million.
