THE BASICS OF RELAXATION

One of the key to SUCESS is learning to look into yourself.Life can be categorize into material world and mental world,or spiritual world if you like.The key to getting the most from your mental world is by learning to relax.Deep relaxation helps you overcome stress.By aceessing this mental world everything you ever want can be yours . Understand that all the richness that you have ever dream of is right now inside you! The trick is bringing it out to the material world.

RELAXATION TECHNIQUE

1)Sit comfortably in a chair or lie down in your bed.Inhale while counting to eight.Hold your breath while counting to 8. Exhale while counting to 8 and finally pause while you count to 8.This is one cycle .Repeat the breathing technique for 5 times. By now you will already feel relaxed as deep breathing causes more oxygen to flow in your bloodstream.

2)Now focus your attention to your feet.Say to yourself that my feet is getting relax while imagining your feet as relax,calm feeling wonderful. Now imagine your thighs is getting relax,calm while repeating to yourself, "My thighs is getting relax,is feeling calm and wonderful. Go to each part of your body, your stomach,your chest,your upper arm ,your lower arms,your palms ,fingers.Take 3 deep breaths and continue relaxing your neck ,face ,mouth,nose ears eyes and head..If this sounds like a lot of work don't worry with a few practice session you will able to completely relax within 3 minutes

VISUALIZATION

The main benefit of relaxation is it helps you communicate with your subconcious mind. Your subconcious is that part of you mind that enables you to reach all your goals .You can best communicate with your subconcious mind when you are relaxed,so once you are totally relaxed you can either communicate with your subconcious mind thru pictures or sound
You communicate with your subconcious mind thru sound by repeating certain positive words after you have done your relaxation technique.Remember to talk to your subconcious mind usingpresent tense,positive statement.For example if you want to develop greater leader ship qualities, than you say to yourself" I am having superb leadership qualities"Repeat that statement for about?10 times.Then?use picture or in another word imagine yourself acting like a leader ,interacting with people like a leader,think of a person you know who has great leadership qualities and remember how he acts in a given situation then imagine yourself acting the same way in that given situation. . Remember to incoporate sound ,smell,sight ,touch and emotion in your visualization.To the greater degree you can make your visualization as real as possible , the faster you can reach your goals.Playing classical music by?Mozart,Beethoven,Vivaldi and other masters while doing your visualization further improves the quality of your visualisation and enable you to reach your goals faster. Let me go thru it again effective visualization consists of
1)Repeating positive words in personal present tense statement.In my example just say you want to earn more money .You do not say" I will get rich". You say to yourself " I am earning $ 15 000?/ month on 1 March 2001 or so on. If you notice the statement it says the exact amount you are earning ,it gives you the date and uses the word "I" and is in present tense. Similiarly if you want to lose weight you don't say" I am losing weight" . You say I am weighting 120 pounds on 1 September 2000 or so on depending on your ideal weight and the date that you are hoping to reach it.
2)Visualize using sound ,smell ,sight,touch and emotion. In my example of earning more money after repeating the positive words in present personal tense statement , for about 10 times., you visualize yourself as being rich,incoporate as many element of being rich as you can for example if you are rich you would surely own a big car ,so imagine yourself being rich,owning the car of your dream ,make sure you know the exact model be it a mercedez or a porshe how does the the steering wheel feel,what is your emotion as you drive that porshe,happy confident etc right,what else .How abot the house of your dream,state the exact house be it single storey or double,maybe with a swimming pool with your mercedez parked in the porch,how many rooms does your house have ,what does the hall look like,you might want to visualize expensive furnitures ,persians rugs,what are the sounds you hear maybe your kid splashing about in the pool etc .
3)Play classical music while doing your visualization. Classical music by Mozart ,Beethoven,Vivaldi and other masters greatly improves the quality of your visualization
4)Remember do your visualization 2 or 3 times a day.By theory the more frequently you do visualization the faster you move towards your goal.But there is a limit, because if you spend all your time sitting in your room doing visualization then you won't have time to take actions to realise your goals.So 2 or 3 times a day is sufficient.
