January 15th - Looking Promising

Feeling pretty pleased with myself. Three and a half days of very low fat eating (including a weekend) which included a chocolate cake and muffins (lo-fat packets).  I've also been experimenting with some cooking ideas, and generally been eating well and enjoying my food much more than usual.  I realise that by doing some research and being a bit creative I can eat much better and enjoy it too.  I have also now gone for two whole weeks without eating bar chocolate - an amazing feat for me.

Overall the weekend was great and we played tennis again yesterday afternoon.  Already I'm feeling more energised and much more positive.  Let's hope I keep it up.

Tomorrow is D-Day for joining Weight Watchers.  As much as I know it's a good idea, I really hate that I have gotten to the point where I need to go.  But that's what this goal setting and journal keeping is all about - being honest with myself and biting the bullet.  No more fooling myself.
